We ate here on 11/09/24 for dinner, not our first time eating here. Every time we have traveled here (1 hour travel time) the food and service has always been amazing and consistent. I have always ordered the 14 oz handcut ribeye (medium rare) with mashed potatoes, green beans and ranch on my salad, while he has always ordered their chicken fried steak with green beans, mashed potatoes and extra gravy and chips/salsa as the appetizer (their salsa is amazing). Every time, the food and service has been consistent. This is our go to restaurant.

Waitress was great but not the food. My daughter ordered a rare steak. It had the rare stick but was medium well. Sent back and they brought back a gray steak fridge temp cold. Sent back and changed order. She didn’t get to eat with family due to the delays. Changed order to shrimp brochette. Waitress said manager took off steak. Ticket ended up still being charge for the shrimp brochette that she didn’t get to eat until back home in Longview. Tyler location kitchen needs help.

Onion rings! Best ever! Then I took a generous bite from one of the three grilled tacos...yum. They were very, very good. Finished with alternating beans and rice spoonfuls. Fun atmosphere, wonderful staff. Reasonable prices and generous portions. I will be back again, and again and again!

First time here ever, came with a friend!! the gumbo was to die for! Super delicious ? I got the grilled salmon with green beans,hush puppies, steamed broccoli. No flavor in the broccoli or the green beans. Salmon I don't think was cooked all the way. Tasted rubbery and slimy. No good! My friend got the shrimp brochette ,green beans, fried okra my friend said that was good.

Food was delish and service was top notch!! Potions are very generous, will share an appetizer next time bc while very tasty the fried pickles and the fried mushrooms are both huge, delish and we will enjoy the rest tomorrow

Service and food is outstanding great place to eat.
I went yesterday restaurant is very cold inside which made my food cold.. Catfish was hard.. Still looked amazing. My frozen Margarita did not taste good at all. Chamoy Mango taste like lime. Looks I give it a ten on taste three... The fried mushrooms delicious....
It's been awhile since we've been here but they did update the menu and update the atmosphere but the food will still dry it was some of it that wasn't really good. Service the gentleman that we had he could have used a little bit more training.

The wife and I are normally big fans of Clear Springs Cafe but the lunch we were served was unacceptable. The catfish was very small, overdone, and fishy smelling. I confused one of my fillets with a shrimp. I brought this up to my waitress but nothing happened. We will never eat there again.

We ate there yesterday around 7:00 pm. Around 6 customers were walking out because they were not being waited on. The hostess was in the restroom over 30 minutes and when she finally came out she just stayed on her phone, not doing her job. We had to be seated by a waitress. Then the food was very subpar for this particular location. It tasted like the grease was old and the fries were not edible. Not a good experience.
