Hadn’t been to this restaurant in years due to moving away, but it was great as always. We had Brian L. as our server and he was really great. Very friendly, attentive, and seemed to genuinely enjoy his job. Best server we’ve had in a long time at any restaurant. Thank you!!!
This review is for the chicken fried steak only. I ate at the Tyler, TX location on 11/11/25; the food was served about 4:15. The cf steak appeared to be a processed frozen patty, a perfect oval shape with a very thin, flat coating. It had a very odd taste like freezer burn or old cooking oil. I was a guest and did not pay myself so I didn’t feel comfortable saying anything. This is the worst tasting piece of meat I have ever eaten. I have had the fried shrimp twice before...
All items were generous size. Onion rings were amazingly crisp and thick sliced! Small house salad had a good assortment of ingredients. The Jalapenos on shrimp brochette had great flavor and were not too spicy.
