“I would like to take a minute and say thank you to Brad for excellent customer service and to the manger on shift, Tristan, for ensuring that his team provides exceptional service. I have been here multiple times. The food is amazing but I had not so good service! Tonight..: 15 out of 10 stars for this team!“

“Best soul food restaurant in ALL of East Tx!!!!!!!
Great down home service that makes you feel at home and welcome. Everything on the menu was absolutely mouth watering 😋 I ordered Smothered Pork Chops with Rice,Cabbage & Gravy and a side of sweet cornbread with a big cup of Grape Kool-Aid. The staff is full of kind and beautiful women that tend to you in a fashion that a person can only find at home!!“

“Excellent food (Chicken Fried Chicken) and had a wonderful server (Kendall). The food came out quickly and was very moist and tasty. Server was polite, efficient, and easy to talk to (a rarity these days!). It made for a great meal and I’ll definitely be coming back for more. Management, whatever you are doing, keep it up!“

“This was the first time that my husband and I had been here in a year and a half. The last time we visited the visit was absolutely awful. The food was terrible. The service was horrible.

This time was a complete 180. The food was great. It was hot. It was fresh. Our waitress Lexie was an absolute doll. She made sure that our drinks were always topped off. She made sure that we had what we needed and wanted. We will be going back more often.

And will ALWAYS ask for Lexie!“

“Very disappointed in our take out with this restaurant. My husband and I got tacos since that is their special today with two margaritas. Got home - tacos were ice cold, rice was bland as well as the beans. We didn't even mention that because we were starving after doing yard work and ate the food anyways. 🤷‍♀️ But the margaritas were watered down, and the two of them barely filled one glass. Poured down the drain. So we talked with the staff over the phone to which they agreed to remake the drinks. Thought everything was cool! My husband drove all the way back up to the restaurant and was told he needed to pay for them to get new ones because the bartender I guess thought we were trying to rip them off. Ridiculous - if you're going to charge $46 bucks for tacos and margaritas - they'd better be worth it. These were not, and the customer service was even worse. Can't imagine a bad review is worth two margaritas!“
