Great meal as always. Service is amazing. The layers of flavor in everything is what keeps us coming back!
Staff friendly and attentive. Food was excellent, only negative is large portions but the staff placed in to go containers that we enjoyed later. Will be back and would recommend.
The food was absolutely spectacular and the service was top notch! I'd say the best part was being able to see what was being cooked in close proximity - kinda like Hell's Kitchen, but better; ESPECIALLY since chef was there preparing and plating each dish to perfection! Will definitely be back!
Nice chef driven restaurant. High quality food and wine. Hoping the construction in front doesn't doom this place. We used the free parking garage and these 60 & 70 year old had no issues with the block long walk. Exceptional food and the best service I've had in a couple of years and second to none. Pricey? A bit, but a solid value.
One of our very favorite places to eat at night. This visit was brunch and we were disappointed, unfortunately, because we are such huge fans of this great place to eat. For both items we selected to order, we were told they were out of ham (only 1.5 hrs after they opened) for Eggs Benedict and The Samich. Was offered bacon, but not what I would vision either of these dishes. Settled on other offerings and the chicken fried steak and eggs were outstanding. Crab cake, not so much. The fries we ordered for appetizer (our very favorite in the world!!), (however order wasn't placed) came out after our meal was delivered and very sadly they were no where close to the same as usual...very soggy and limp. Not their normal, perfect fry. We are loyal customers and always rave and recommend this unique place! Maybe it was just an “off day”.
Had a really nice date night. Drinks, food and service were all great. Would love to have some of the steak seasoning to use at home.
The food was outstanding! The attentiveness of the waitstaff was superb. We were there for brunch on Sunday and enjoyed the Devilled Eggs for starters. The crab Benedict was out of this world! Although they only service one on a plate, and so it's a bit spendy. My hubby had the biscuits and gravy. They serve a gigantic portion and he loved it. With all of the construction in the square, it requires a bit of walking, not that it's their fault but anyone with walking restrictions should be aware.
Food was outstanding & service very good! Our server had on a Book Lovers T-shirt and was so friendly & helpful. We love the open kitchen concept & will continue to support this local business! Very easy to get to if you park in the parking garage! Worth the walk!
Big city dining tucked away in east Texas. This place is a gem. Fun to see the chef preparing his signature dishes. Unique menu items...our group of five selected different items. The dish with squash and ham was an unexpected surprise and a favorite. The pork chop lived up to expectations and its reputation. We will absolutely go back.
Food is always amazing! Love the burnt ends, hope they bring them back. Had the steak and potatoes and they were delicious - one of our favorite spots

The food was really distinctive, very rich, and good; however, it wasn't something we couldn't eat often. We love the hostess, and the main, Chef; however, they really could've used an additional server. Our server was lovely, but I believe he was overwhelmed with so many customers needing assistance all at once. We would be thrilled to go back; however, the chairs are painfully hard! Maybe that is the restaurant's way of keeping people from staying too long? Lol!
Wonderful experience, as usual! We took our kiddos and the staff was willingly helpful in picking out the right meals for them. Service is spot on and the food, although a tad salty for my personal taste, was delicious! We will definitely be back.
Fantastic Experience as always! Food and Wine were both top notch! We had 3 people in our party, and our table was ready at the time of our reservation. Make sure to reserve, as this place gets full fast. We had some gorgeous red wines to start with and a bread plate with a variety of delicious breads, butter, and oil/ herb blend. Also to start out we had Crab Hushpuppies which I highly recommend. For our dinner, two of us had "Dad's Goulash" which was to die for and the other one had the Snapper, and he said it was amazing. The highlight of the evening though, was the gentleman who serves the wine. He was able to give us some excellent offerings based on what we were individually telling him we liked in wine. We got to taste several different wines and came away from the experience completely satisfied. This place is one of my absolute favorite dining places!
East TX Culture delivers outstanding service and truly amazing vegetables. Everything is fresh, vibrant, and clearly made with care; best I've ever eaten. The team is friendly and attentive, making the whole experience a pleasure. Five stars without hesitation!

As always Heritage East at Culture ETX exceeded my expectations. The service is second to none and the food is like nothing else I have eaten since moving to East Texas. Parking is very close in the parking garage one block away, so don't let the downtown construction scare you off. It is really a non-issue. Come for the great service and enjoy the amazing menu full of great selection.
