Dakotas Steaks - Seafood - Chops

Ordered the Wagyu ribeye, was full of gristle but cooked ok? Lobster bisque was great thou, overall good experience just not what was expected as far as the cut of meat that was chosen!

Dakotas is all that I would expect from a fine dining experience. The food and the service were wonderful and we will definitely be back.

Everything was marvelous! The scallops and oysters Rockefeller were fresh and “out of this world” Scott, our server, was very attentive without being intrusive. Our Anniversary dinner couldn't have been any better! Even dessert was awesome! Thank you for e everything!

The food was INCREDIBLE!!! We tried the wagyu ribeye, crispy Brussels, twice baked potato, garlic masked potatoes and the Mac and cheese. Everything was cooked to perfection and succulent. The service was amazing as well, not overly attentive where we couldn't focus on each other, but just the right amount of service. We ended the meal with the cheese cake and was equally impressed with that. The only note is that next time I will request to be seated in the little alcoves that have tables with just two chairs, it looked really cozy for a date night! Oh and the bread they brought out as a starter was also really delicious, I just wanted to make sure and save room for the steak. It's definitely a great place for a special date night or celebration. Highly recommend!

First time to eat here. Celebrated our anniversary. Put notation of that on dinner reservation. No comments from anyone from hostess to server. No The hostess was friendly and quickly showed us to a table. The server was abrupt to the point of being rude. Not what we expected from a fine dining establishment. He checked on us a couple of times. The second time he didn't even speak to us. The steaks: 6 oz filet and New York strip were excellent!. As were the carrots and potatoes and creamed spinach.

My sweetheart and I recently celebrated our birthdays at Dakota's Steakhouse, and it was an absolutely unforgettable experience from start to finish. From the moment we pulled up to the valet and stepped onto the elevator and down into the underground restaurant, the atmosphere was a perfect blend of old-world elegance and modern boutique charm. The eloquent and intimate setting made our special occasion feel even more romantic and unique.

The service was, in a word, phenomenal. The staff’s attentiveness was second to none, and our waiter, Roger and his team anticipated our every need without ever being obtrusive. He treated us like honored guests, providing insightful recommendations and ensuring every detail of our meal was perfect. It's the kind of service that elevates a dinner from simply a meal to a cherished memory.

And the food? It was nothing short of amazing. Every course was a masterpiece, perfectly prepared and bursting with flavor. The quality of the ingredients shone through, and it was clear that each dish was crafted with immense care and expertise.

But the true highlight of the evening was meeting and Madji the restaurant manager who treated us to two delicious desserts and mock-champagne. A decadent and beautifully presented finale, it was the perfect way to cap off our dual birthday celebration. The champagne and dessert pairing was a work of art that tasted even better than it looked.

Dakota's Steakhouse is more than just a restaurant; it’s an experience. For anyone seeking a truly upscale and memorable dining experience in Dallas, particularly for a special occasion, I cannot recommend it highly enough. We left feeling celebrated, spoiled, and already looking forward to our next visit.

As always, Dakotas was on point with food and service! Steaks cooked to perfection and nice wine list with a variety of by the glass options as well.
