We do not live in Tyler, but we often visit, and we always eat here. We can count on great service and yummy food. On this visit, I wanted something simple, so I had the salad and baked potato - perfectly cooked potato and fresh salad. It hit the spot!
One could probably spend a couple of hours just looking at all of the decorations and still not see everything. Daniel Boone's is what you expect a tavern to look like.
Now, the food was amazing and decently priced, as well. Around $44 for three people. I got the Griddle Steak, which is a chicken fried steak but no breading. He got the Chicken Fried steak and his son just got a cheeseburger. We all enjoyed our food. Especially the fries dipped in the white gravy....

Great place to eat kinda pricey but fun atmosphere.
Chicken fried steak lacks a little oomph breading comes off when you try to cut it but it tastes great overall it's pretty good just a bit high priced for my tastes.
