The restaurant is clean and pretty and we have always had good service. It's just.... the food is not good at all. One of my friends really likes this place so I get dragged here quite a bit and I make it a point to try something different in hopes I'll like it better than the last thing I got, but I never do. The meat is always very bland. The rice and beans are okay, I guess I'll just stick to rice and beans the next time my friend makes me go.

Went there for lunch today had a margarita with our summer plate, food was fresh and good as ever, along with the drinks!! Love this place, and the staff are very polite and helpful...will continue to frequent this place as much as often!!! 5 STAR RESTAURANT!!! HANDS DOWN!!!

There were 3 adults in our party & none of us liked our food. It was unfortunate, but the restaurant is very pretty & our waiter was very kind.
Excellent TEX MEX FOOD. THE SAUCE FOR THE TOSTADAS IS EXCELLENT AND HAVENOT SEEN YET AT OTHER TEX MEX ESTABLISHMENTS. THE CHEESE NACHOS WITH JALAPENOS ARE GREAT AND SERVED IN A LITTLE DIFFERENT STYLE THAN USUAL. MY FAVORITE ENTREE IS THE CHEESE AND ONION ENCHILADAS WITH CHILI SAUCE. THIS RESTAURANT IS OWNED BY A FAMILY WITH LONG TIME ROOTS IN SERVING TEX MEX IN TYLER, TX. I ALWAYS LOOK FORWARD TO TAKING GUESTS THERE.

El Guapo margarita was yummy. The food was good but very bland. The salsa is very hot but not a lot of flavor. They were understaffed but our waitress was good. I would just sit at the bar next time and have a drink.
