This restaurant is often very busy, so I would suggest making reservations if you are going Friday or Saturday night. However, even if you have to wait, you won't be disappointed. The food is always top notch and the services is great. Have tried many different items on the menu and there hasn't been one I didn't like. Surprisingly, they have one of the best burgers in town. But their steak and fish are equally as good. My husband had the ribs last night and they were outstanding. A large portion for the price and they literally feel off the bone. I had the filet with stuffed shrimp and it was excellent as well. We had the triple dip as an appetizer, and it was great! The only problem, which really isn't a problem, is there was way too much for two people. Great ambiance, great food, great service and great prices. Can't ask for anything more.

We are frequent diners at FD's. Our church has a Senior's monthly lunch there. But, on this occasion we were invited to dine with lifelong friends who allowed us to choose the location. Of course we were inclined to go with FD's. We were not disappointed, the food was excellent as usual. The service was attentive and friendly. Our server was young, but experienced. The ambiance at lunch was very tolerable. Scott and Maddie are providing a choice environment.

I have been here a few times. It is always hit or miss it seems. Service is always great. Food can be. I tried the deviled eggs this time due to the fact that my friend does not eat seafood. Their dip and shrimp apps are wonderful. The eggs, not so much. I usually get salmon, several options for salmon. I love fish and chips made from Cod so I was excited. Just ok. There is much better options for fish n chips in Tyler. My friend had the lemon chicken, she said it was great but only ate half of a half order. All in all, chose wisely.

His attention to detail, friendliness, and service really is the best and we get excited when sat in his section.

FD's grill is very good food at a very reasonable price. The service we received was a little bit slow, but it was a Saturday night so it was understandable. Noise level was a bit high, but again it was a busy time.

The wait staff was courteous and very helpful. We were seated within 5 minutes of our arrival and our waiter quickly took our order. The food and drinks were delicious and any requests we had were filled quickly.

We had Alaskan cod fish, cedar plank salmon and the triple dip appetizer (spinach artichoke dip, queso blanco, salsa, and tortilla chips). Everything was fresh, homemade and delicious! The staff are very friendly and professional. The atmosphere is lively and fun. It was a great experience and we will be going back soon!
