If you go to Chipoltle instead of getting a bowl from Freebirds, you could possibly be the first human ever with the IQ of a potato.Way better food, similar price, and service that doesn't suck. I'm sold.

First time visiting. Service was good. The food did not live up to the expectations or the prices. I got a steak burrito and it was one of the blandest burritos I’ve ever had and I put a good amount of fresh cold toppings on it. Overall it wasn’t horrible but it wasn’t great either. Chipotle may not have as much of a variety but they make it up in flavor and freshness. Just because there’s more choices doesn’t mean you’re getting quality food. The chips are pre bagged so I doubt they’re made in house and I was told the guacamole is made fresh but I have my doubts on that as well. I could be wrong. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the food really wasn’t anything to write home about. Lastly the atmosphere was nice and modern but the custom foil decor from what I can assume is from customers is a little tacky and trashy imo. May come back for a second try just to see how the bowl option is but first impressions weren’t the greatest.

If you can spend money anywhere, just come here! I swear me and my husband came here one day and came back the very next day. Its truly an amazing restaurant. The burrito my husband ordered was the size of his foot, HE WEAR SIZE 13S!!!!! Will definitely come back or order on doordash because it was just amazing quality food, with thorough flavors too.

This was our first time here and we loved the burritos. While eating we saw one of the line staff spraying something on the line area right infront of the open ingredients. She sprayed this liquid and I could see the mist that went over the salsa trays as she wiped down the counter. After seeing that my wife and I looked at each other and pitched our food and left. All I can hope is that no one gets sick from whatever she was spraying to clean the counter.

The 2 Freebirds bowls I ordered were tiny tiny. Avid Freebirds eater in Austin and the Tyler location is skimping guest. Both bowls had cauli rice (already a $2 up charge) there wasn't enough rice on the line for both bowls (or even 1 bowl by normal standards at FB) I told her I would wait while more was prepped and she said that was the appropriate amount, same thing with the freebird chicken. They scraped and scraped not even collecting anything because the tins were empty as they called back to the line for more. I again said I would wait. Both bowls combined was smaller than a normal one on any other visit I have had at any other location. I normally can eat a bowl over 2 full meals and this was a snack lol
Way better than the competition. Don't waste your time with other burrito chains. This is the one.Parking: Plenty of parking

I have made numerous trips to this store for lunch while working. Staff are ALWAYS friendly and understanding even when I have 4 custom orders at a time and have never messed up a single order.
