Terrible experience at this restaurant. On Saturday, there were only 2 staff members handling cooking, drive-thru, and cashier duties, leading to extremely long wait times. The food quality was subpar, and I witnessed multiple customers arguing with staff over incorrect orders. The restaurant's lack of organization was evident - very stingy management they dont even provide napkins or ketchup at the counter have to ask everything from the staff. I waited 30 minutes for my order, only to receive the wrong food. The staff seemed unconcerned and told me to wait another 30 minutes for a corrected order. Unfortunately, this was a common theme among the many unhappy customers. Given the poor service and food quality, false advertisement saying free ice cream They had broken ice cream machine .I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant - it's a waste of time and money

Please tell people that your Golden Roasted Chicken is spicy as heck with a high amount of cayenne pepper! I took 2 bites and threw the rest in the trash. I am very disappointed!

I absolutely love Golden Chick. Their golden roast is amazing. They have the best yeast rolls and their gravy (mixed with a Lotta Zing packet) is top notch. I tried their mashed potatoes yesterday and they're good, but their green beans are my side of choice. I could eat them with every meal.

It was probably 6:45 pm, on a Tuesday. It was my two teens and myself. We went in to eat. The older man was kind and took our order as soon as we were ready. We noticed their sign that said free ice-cream when you dine in. I told my kids they could have ice-cream after they finished their meal. Once they were done they went to the counter to ask for cones because there wasn't any by the machine and they waited 5 minutes before they were noticed. There was a lady there and she was talking on her cell phone and look at them but took her a minute before she asked them what they needed. Then turns out they were out of stock on cones. I guess it wasn't our night for ice-cream.

I visited this location on 12/12/2025. I ordered my food and as I got ready to pay the prices were wrong after 15 minutes the lady that was helping me fixed the pricing for me. I asked if I could have fresh wings cooked and I was told that some just came up. After receiving my food the wings were barely warm. I let the employee know that my food was not hot and ask if i could have it remade and he told me no so i asked for my money back and he also told me no. He told me to take the food and come back tomorrow to talk to a manager. I told him no and he said you need to leave and I told him after I get a refund and he said get out and I said if I was not black I would not be being treated this way.. he told me to get out or he will call the police and he did called and told police that he felt like he was in danger because of a irate customer. I have never had anything like this happen to me in my 49 years of life. I will never go back again.
I went thru the drive thru in Tyler, on the loop. The gentleman that helped me was named Chase I believe. He greeted me promptly and was very friendly and helpful. He was polite and had a genuine smile on his face which is nice to see these days.

Stopped by Golden Chick in Tyler and was pleasantly surprised. The chicken strips were fresh, tender, and flavorful — especially when paired with their Zing sauce, which added the perfect kick. The restaurant is also halal, which is a big plus. Overall, a solid spot for quick chicken cravings, and I’d definitely recommend giving it a try.

THE WORST FOOD I HAVE EVER PUT IN MY MOUTH!!! One of my daughters chicken strips was raw!!! I got the catfish plate tiny portions! They gave me 3 small pieces the equivalent to one fillet maybe.... I was supposed to have two fillets! Fries tasted like strait grease! Mac and cheese worst than hospital food. Catfish had no flavor except an excessive amount of grease! Chicken strips tasted like idk grease and chicken bouillon. Sparse NASTY portions for 23 dollars. I WANT MY MONEY BACK!! Sweet tea tasted old with little to no sugar. Also drinks had very little ice and the cups spilled all in my car!! Oh the rolls were good but that was it. Food not even worthy of my trash can literally 🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY TYLER. ABSOLUTELY Disgusting!!!!!
