What awesome little eatery definitely worth the little drive staff was very attentive,the spices are from mild to wild start medium work your way up l,okra is on point so are the pickles chicken was very tender the manager really seems to care about the customers
As someone who knows true authentic Nashville Hot Chicken, Hangry Joe's is pretty dang close to it, way out here in Texas. My favorite meal are the loaded fries. The tenders and sandwiches are pretty good too. Wasn't a big fan of the wrap when I tried it. Mild heat is barely hot, Medium heat is just enough to give you a kick without making you uncomfortable - my go-to.
The chicken wasnt bad but its not the best. Especially for the price. Its pricey for mediocre chicken. The menu tried to include unique items but its just chicken with a few different seasonings on and some of which are not that great tasting. Also they are pretty skimpy on the sauces. The fruit tea is overly sweet and nothing special and cost 6 bucks or so for no reason. Not worth it. The staff was very kind and friendly and helpful. The logo and paintings are super cute also....
