The food is always wonderful here. Sometimes the service is a little slow. I love the queso. I would also recommend the soup. It is amazing. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and at every crumb.

Incredible food, fantastic drink selection, and friendly and inviting staff. This place is my absolute favorite spot for tacos and drinks in Tyler. My wife and I met some friends in the early afternoon and ended up staying until late in the evening swapping stories with the bartenders and, of course, trying several of their special cocktails.

Very nice place to eat at. Prices are very affordable and portion sizes are good. Recommend the shrimp ceviche.

I have been to hundreds of Mexican restaurants all over USA, Puerto Rico, Honduras, El Salvador, Guatemala and Mexico and this restaurant had the worst Margarita I have ever tasted. It tasted like water with a little bit of flavor. When the waiter asked me how the Margarita was I told him it tasted it like water and I couldn't believe he's response. He told me yeah but what did you expect, you ordered the House Margarita. He then recommended another Margarita that was supposed to be better and to me it tasted the same. I ended up ordering a beer. The menu is also very limited. I regret coming here for my birthday. I wouldn't come back to this restaurant ever again.

Harsh acoustics and our server seemed a little overwhelmed with a group or size (18). He could have used some help but he handled it with good spirits.
The food was knockout good, loved the salsa and the smoked brisket tacos were nothing short of awesome.

I show up and the place is basically dead but those who are there are staring at me like I know I’m brown but I’m American, the host a young lady didn’t greet didn’t take my name didn’t ask for
How many I mean we were basically just there my family and I six in total. My wife graciously stated we need a table for six the girl looked at us and said ok and then said it’s gonna be about ten minutes. Didn’t take our name or number or nothing we said ok we will be waiting waited for 25 minutes still nothing then I went back in and asked if we needed to give our name she said ok what is it I gave it and felt like I was the dumb one but obviously customer service didn’t exist here never again going back!!

Best food i have had by far in Tyler. You can tell everything is made to order, no microwaves here. Amazing Spain touch of atmosphere and drinks.

Very surprised by this place. My wife and I visited for the first time for my birthday. We tried a few tacos, the guacamole and tamales. Hands down, best tacos in Tyler and maybe beyond. I would strongly suggest the smoked brisket tacos, you will not be disappointed! Fun up-beat atmosphere and really great service. You will feel like you are in an upscale restaurant without the price tag. 10 out of 10 and we will be back regularly for the tacos.

I’m not sure why I’ve waited so long to eat at Humo. I tried their food once before. It was shortly after they opened and I honestly enjoyed it then. For some reason, I haven’t been back until now.
The ambiance when you walk in is perfect. The entire vibe just makes you feel like you’re in an upscale restaurant, but with a more relaxed atmosphere.
For appetizers, we ordered the peruvian ceviche and the tuetano (bone marrow). I’ve never had peruvian ceviche, but I decided to step out of my comfort zone and try it. I was pleasantly shocked. Same case with the bone marrow. I’ve only seen others eat it before lol. I really liked it, especially when it was paired with all the others flavors. They also bring out chips and salsa. The salsa itself was a bit spicy, but it was so good that I persevered.
For my main entree, I ordered the chimichurri lamb chops. They were resting atop some perfectly cooked fingerling potatoes. It also came with a fresh arugula salad with a lime vinaigrette, which I demolished. Although the lamb chops were a bit on the smaller side, they made up for it in flavor, especially with the chimichurri😍
The service was a bit on the slower side, but our waitress did tell us they were a bit understaffed. I think she still did an exceptional job.
If you’re looking for some great food in a chill setting, then head over to Humo.
