Easter Brunch was a joke. The unopened bottle of champagne I bought was the best thing I had. Service was terrible and all they had to do was serve drinks. Food was ice cold and not good at all. We would've had better tasting and HOT food going through the drive through at McDonalds and saved $75.00. Complete disappointment for our holiday. Could be such a nice place to come to and enjoy because of the ambiance.

I had Easter Sunday lunch with the family. The brunch had breakfast and lunch choices but every single thing was cold. How can you charge someone 25$ for a buffet and not have heaters on the food you are serving? All of the food was salty, the building and venue look so nice but there is completely a lack of respect for the food. I would not recommend this place.

Not a good food experience. The Sunday brunch, cold, all "hot"dishes were cold. Salt, each dish very salty. No vegetables on brunch buffet. Can't imagine management will improve the food. My impression cannot be new...

Our first time here. Impressive compared to almost all other Tyler locations.Architecture, interior design & functionality as a food establishment is simply UNMATCHED in Tyler area. Don’t miss opportunity to take in the lake views, the entertainment venues and SUPERB BAR!We’ll be back for BRUNCH soon !S. StarkFormerly of Houston, Texas

Was perfect for what we were looking for. Wife had the smoked meatloaf and I had the chicken on a pretzel bun. Was excellent. Service was good but learning. No issues. We got there at 5:00 pm on a Thursday. Weather was perfect to sit outside by the lake. Very relaxing. Highway visible through the pines, but it's not far outside of Tyler, so still peaceful and nice.

I’m leaving this review more for feedback. We went for dinner this weekend. The restaurant was so cold inside, my fiancé and I never removed our winter coats. The hostess had a portable heater at her desk, and wait staff had ear warmers, fleece jackets, and sweats / flannels on. The live music was at such a high volume, we were unable to talk across our table to one another for our date, and we were not in the same room as the band. I started to feel a headache and just wanted to leave. All for a band- but very loud volume. The drinks were very good, as well as our appetizer. The waitress was kind. For the price of the meals, this isn’t a place we would return to, due to atmosphere, as well as quality of the entrees. We really wanted to like this spot, so that’s why we are taking the time for feedback.

the restaurant was very beautiful and aesthetically pleasing, that being said the food was absolutely terrible especially for the amount you’re paying. the catfish was mushy, the lobster mac and cheese was unseasoned and cheese-less, the rice seemed like it came out of the box, and the carne asada was the size of a childs palm and tasteless. overall the wait staff was very friendly, though we waited over an hour for our food just to be told that some options weren’t available, and subsequently only serving the options they had. This place seems more like somewhere you could get a pretty instagram picture, than to actually have a nice meal. Save your money and go to Little Caesars around the corner like we did after “dinner”.

I've only been here for brunch a couple of times, food is decent but the brunch menu is basic, nothing special and not many options. Kick it up a notch and offer some bottomless mimosas

My experience at this restaurant was pleasurable all around from the moment we walked through the door. The hostess was very kind and accommodating! Her name is Cadence and she recommended a wonderful dish since it was my first time there! All of the staff was very friendly and the drinks were delicious too!

To be honest I was worried about coming here after the reviews. However, my roommates and I live nearby and drive by regularly and regardless of what you think of the food you cannot deny the setting is beautiful. Finally our intrigue outgrew our wariness and we decided to go for dinner. We were pleasantly surprised by everything we encountered! We were seated promptly and our server was awesome! We order the queso as a starter and the serving size was massive and fed our group of 4 PLENTY of cheese. I personally ordered the chicken fajitas and while I wouldn't say there was anything impressive about them I did think they were good. Additionally we ordered the lobster Mac and cheese, pork sliders, and chicken tortilla soup. All of us came to the conclusion at the end of dinner that we really enjoyed our time at Lago Del Pino and thought our food was good. It's definitely a place you go to more for the view and atmosphere than the food but that doesn't have to mean that the food is bad! I'd recommend coming out and trying it for yourself if you're on the fence.
