Super expensive for the portion of food served and have a strong feeling, food is not freshly prepared, it looks like frozen or precooked. Service was only good part of our visit. Not worth our trip and money spent…

Very aromatic and delicious Chicken Korma, and the Garlic Naan was delicate, with a wonderful flavor.

Five Stars! Chicken Masala was delicious; better than Roti Grill in Dallas. Great staff to help you order. I’ll be back soon.

So excited about this restaurant for the Tyler food scene! The food is delicious. The restaurant is warm and inviting. Service is friendly and efficient. Everything we had was amazing: plain naan, chattinad, samosa chat. Highly recommend giving this little place a try. We will be back!

Let me preface this review by stating that this is the only “Indian” restaurant in Tyler, so if your of the opinion something is better than nothing, I get it. Now I have the Niceties out of the way allow me to speak to the food.
It is plain, boring and uninspired. I do not know where it is supposed to hail from as it is not any akin to any flavor profiles from any region I am familiar with?
The food is not bad let me be clear, but if you choose to charge $20 as baseline price for your dishes please be authentic, well prepared and seasoned. We had three dishes, none of them were variations of the dishes I am familiar with, nor were their renditions interesting or intriguing, just plain boring.
The tikka masala was not the the usual variation of tomato soup just a bent on the theme. The Korma was…. Well it was hard to describe, it lacked character and was strange.. for want of a better descriptor. It just wasn’t a Korma!
Last and worst of all was the Kofta, the Kofta were hardly present in the dish and those that were disintegrated as soon as they were spooned onto the plate, the sauce was blasé and plain.
I do not know why the previous reviews of this restaurant seem to be so high…
Draw your own conclusions.

My husband and I have been to Nameste several times and we will be back many more. Their Butter Masala heals my soul and the Nameste Chicken Biriyanki is something we crave regularly. The chicken lollipop is out of this world and the naan can be its own meal. It's as good the next day, as left overs, which is always a bonus! Highly recommend.
