My travels recently took me to Newk’s Eatery in Tyler TX and I’m glad I did. I have always enjoyed Panera Bread & Jason’s Deli at various locations I traveled to but the atmosphere at Newk’s reminded me of my favorite hometown diners, with a friendly and vibrant atmosphere. I ate a combination soup and sandwich, which was delicious. The vast menu offers selections for everyone. The restaurant was clean and cozy and we really enjoyed our luncheon gathering with friends. If you’re a hometown resident of Tyler or just a guest traveling in the area, Newk’s is one of the best lunch choices.

I’m a massive fan of Newk’s- typically. My go to is the Greek Salad with chicken. However today, I decided I would do a half salad because I always had trouble finishing. I ordered a half greek salad and added my portion of chicken for pickup. Total with chicken added was a little over $12. The salad portion was pretty laughable. It was possibly a three finger grab of lettuce with minimal toppings. The chicken addition is the same price as the full salad, so I was assuming a good amount of protein. Imagine 1 slice of deli meat chicken in a salad. Super, super small. The salad itself was delicious as always but this is a buyer beware to spend $2 more and get the full thing. It is absolutely not worth $12. This was pickup so in store portions could be different.

Friendly staff, food is always fresh and hot. Newk’s Q pizza with cauliflower crust is a definite favorite of ours.
Parking: Easy parking all around the building with designated area for pickup orders around the back.
I was at Newk's on Wednesday and Edmundo took our order. He was very polite, our order was accurate and he has great customer service. I will be going back very soon!!!
