Angela is the most rude, unprofessional waitress I have ever encountered. She had a major attitude with my son and me from the very beginning. She was ignoring us and after my empty tea glass had been sitting there for 15mins I asked her for a refill (my first one) and she walked off with out acknowledging me so i spoke up a little louder and said excuse me I would like a refill. She came over to the table with the full tea pitcher and grabbed my glass in her hand and paused for a moment and stared at me then walked off with it. My glass was 3/4 full of ice so there was no reason for her to take it. The other tea pitcher was steps away so it wasn’t like she went to grab the other one. She took my tea glass out of sight for several minutes then came back and put it on the table. I simply told her I want a new glass with ice and the tea poured at the table. She yelled ‘you think I spit in your drink? Fu(k you! Go Fu(k yourself and stormed off. Apparently she is the mother of both the managers grandchild so no recourse will be taken and I have heard that they ‘protect her at all costs’ No telling what she was doing with my drink and no telling what she has done to others. This is not the first time she has had outbursts like this and from what I am gathering this is normal behavior for her.
First off I have never left a review but after that experience I need to warn people. That is by far the worst meal I have ever had, and the worst food I have tasted in Tyler. Please if you’re seeing this just go to Olive Garden. Julio was our server and was mediocre. I will never return to this establishment. Ever.

I visited the Oliveto and a man name Alejandro helped me. Alejandro was helpful, kind, sweet, patient and has great customer service. He goes over and beyond for the customers. I will be back because of him.

We paid $23 for a Greek salad. It tastes fine but I feel we were swindled! There are a few leaves of lettuce, two cherry tomatoes, 5 shrimp (not terrible amount), and a handful of olive slivers. (Not including other small details, this is just what stood out to me.) Hopefully, this was an accident.

Very chill atmosphere inside. Relaxing for a meeting but also a date night. Staff was super friendly and polite. Food was delicious.

Prices are not the same in store as with online services. Pizza is best thing about the food, meatballs were dry and taste like lukewarm mixed meat, calamari was a mix of under and over cooked pieces. The bartender wasn't the bartender, it was an angry server who said they weren't even tabc or food certified and was being forced to play bartendet. He told my husband to his face that alcohol was pretty much evil. They charged us for a flat beer and server said it sucks for us. The manager got a new one, but we were also knowingly charged for a shot that the server refused to give us: "sucks for you, I'm not giving it to you".
Please tell your managers not to hire employees who purposely sabotage your business and humiliate your customers or just stop serving alcohol!! This place used to be good but the people working there have ruined it or at least the uncertified server who played bartender on Tuesday night is going to get it shut down. Not going back again. Sorry to the people who were actually doing a good job

Ok, I am a little obsessed with this place. The italian nachos, the bistro pizza, the bread pudding. This place is devine, and the staff are sweethearts

I haven’t been this disappointed in an Italian place in a while. We got the crab cakes for appetizers, do not do this. You get two small cakes for $12, it was overcooked, and overpriced. Taste was solid but not worth the cost. Then we got the rigatoni rustica and it was the second worst pasta I’ve had at any restaurant and cost $16…
The final item was a jalapeño risotto and it’s decent but again nothing memorable. Our waitress didn’t even bring water and our food was ready and I had to ask her to check on it because we were waiting for over 20 minutes without any food while it wasn’t busy. Overall I’d get a full refund if possible but I’m definitely not going here again.

I don’t normally write reviews but felt like I just had to for this place. Some of the best Italian food I’ve had and the price is extremely reasonable. We started with the bruschetta and it was nothing short of amazing. My daughter and I kept saying “Why is this so good?!?!” The lasagna was excellent as well. The breadsticks were soft and pillowy. Definitely will be one of our go to places in Tyler.

A very varied menu, the food is very delicious, the place is clean but unfortunately the person who served us had a terrible attitude and left us waiting for a long time and seemed to be angry with everyone

Lauren was an absolute delight. No one was sitting in the bar area, but she made sure I was attended to. Oliveto used to be a favorite of ours when we lived in the area. I was in town for business and had to go back to see if it was still the same. It was. Wood fired pizza was on point. I got the portofino. Also got the cheesecake to go from Lauren's recommendation. I will make sure to stop by if I'm back in town!

Server had me standing at least 10 minutes before being asked if I needed anything, then the next people she was fast to help them, so if your a grub hub driver they make you wait.....so tired of businesses doing this!!!!! Get it together folks! Treat everyone with respect, don't pick and choose how you treat people.

You have to try their amazing pizza.
At 8 pm for dine in only, it's 50% off.
My favorite is the margarita pizza. I also add caramelized onions to make it yummy.

I think they cooked my chicken primavera right after someone else food and part of their food was mixed with my pasta. It really messed up my dish. And then didn't discount it but offered a dessert which I can't eat right now. Also there's so much dust on that fake plant at the entrance.
