We ordered two sandwiches and sides. Both were very good. We also enjoyed the live music. Great atmosphere for a Saturday afternoon.

Tried the Reuben at Lola's 2/6/23. Was disappointed. Thought they were stingy with the corned beef and have had better dressings. The bread was very good. The sandwich is $11 and no chips. A little expensive for just the sandwich . Also do not have fries . First time at Lola's--will try something else next time.

It's not Smokey Sandwich Shop now, previous restaurant owner passed away. It's been sold to a new owner and it's called Vette's Kitchen. The best Soul food East of Tyler before you get to Kilgore, TX.Stop in on weekends and give it a try!!!

The food was delicious. There were four of us and we all LOVED our meals. I had the Bacon, Avocado, Turkey, Cheddar sandwich and it was amazing. The portions are generous. If you want a side, plan to share it with others at the table. The room can get a little noisy when they are crowded, but that's to be expected. There's live music on the weekends and the singer was really good!

Stumbled onto information about Lola’s and we decided to give it a try. It definitely did NOT disappoint. The sandwiches were wonderful!! We were wanting a light dinner after a hard day of driving. We both opted for the 1/2 sandwich and 1 side. I had the TABC - Turkey, avocado spread, bacon, cheddar, tomato, red onion and chipotle mayo on sub roll. It was so fresh and tasty. For my side I had a cup of their homemade Roasted Poblano soup. Oh my this would be a wonderful meal alone!! My dear husband had the Reuben - House corned beef, sauerkraut, swiss and Russian on rye. Very tasty! For his side he knew he had to try their cucumber dill salad. It did not disappoint. The food, the service, the customers all made us feel right at home and want to come back again and again. Their decor is so fun and makes you want to relax and have a great time. Please take time to visit Lola’s and support them often. We will be back next time we are in town for sure!

Stopped here for lunch and it was very good. They have a large selection f sandwiches and sides. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I did feel it’s was a tad overpriced, but I’ll definitely return.

...and check out Lolas Handcrafted Kitchen. I stumbled upon it tucked away off Broadway by Office Max and am so glad I did! Not super hungry, I ordered the Grilled Cheese (sans blue cheese and prosciutto) and chips. Sandwich was very good and the chips outstanding: thin, crisp, tasty and NOT a bit greasy! I’ll be back soon to try other items. And I’ll bring friends, as it looks like a nice place to hang out, too. Not too noisy and a nice diner-esque ambiance.

Delicious! Pretty much sums up the review. I got the French dip, my wife the chicken salad. I have to say that this is one if not the best French dip sandwiches I have ever eaten. The chicken salad was delicious as well but I am being partial since we make our almost the same way at home. My wife also got a bowl of the poblano soup which was amazing. We enjoyed the decor and the music by Ramoth Gilead, a very talented musician. Definitely a place a want to visit again.

We've been hearing about this and decided to give it a try. Went on a Friday evening. Hard to order with the Lexan wall of silence and the fully muffling face mask on the cashier. Service was limited. Get your own drink, get your own tableware. Take a number and go sit down. They did bring our food and bus the table. They push for tips as you order but suggest holding out until you see what you get. Had the reuben. Worst I have ever had. Don't know what kind of meat that was. Some kind of chopped beef. The added side of cucumbers was decent. Wife had a turkey sandwich and chicken chili. Okay but nothing to get excited about. The fresh chips were good. Cookies are good.
