So good. I mean, Dayum!!! I forget about this place too often. Maybe the best fried chicken. Sometimes the service is so bad it's worth going just to see how awesomely bad it can be... but with chicken this good, who cares.
BEST chicken in Tyler Texas ! Large pieces and not one bit greasy ! They know how to change their oil frequently enough and temperature in frying makes it non greasy ! The corn grits are a true southern dish and should be praised ! Only place we'll Ever get our Fried BUCKET of chicken. We are new to Tyler and by luck found this Lil diamond !!
The chicken was equivalent to Church's. Although tasty, very greasy. The Cajun Rice was horrendous. It was a bowl of grease that was soupy. The corn grits were very good.This place only has outdoor seating. Be prepared to be hounded by stray dogs while eating if you elect to eat there.The food selection is limited to only fried chicken and fried chicken tenders. This place does not offer anything else other than sides and drink. I have definitely had worse but probably would...
