Stanley’s is my “go to” place for the best bbq, hands down! Everything they have is great, including the service.
If I’m being totally honest, I really only go to see Maddie and Tamara. They’re amazing, the food is second to their smiles and personality!!

The wife and I went there to see American aquarium on our anniversary weekend. I can't even start to explain how the entire staff exceeded every expectation that I could have. Each and everyone of the were very nice, on point, and acted like they were enjoying the job. Food was great, drinks were great, and one heck of a show! Thank you all for an amazing experience.

The bbq is amazing with reasonable portions. Prices may be higher but I understand the price of beef has gone up recently. Great place to get your bbq fix. Bar area has you covered if you need a drink too

Great ribs, my wife loved the baked potato with turkey. Such a cool place.
The Ex Wife sandwich had brisket and pulled pork. It was so tender and delicious. Staff was friendly and very helpful since it was my first time at Stanleys

In Tyler yesterday so decided to try Stanley's, as it had great reviews and was on the Next 50 Texas Monthly list. The food was awful. Had chopped brisket and ribs. The brisket was probably the most flavorless I have ever had. The ribs were a little better, but still bland. I have tasted way, way better at chain BBQ places here in DFW. On the plus side, the potato salad was ok, the staff was great and it had a good atmosphere. But overall such a disappointment food experience.

Look, I’ve eaten BBQ all over the country, but I’m not an expert by any stretch. Stanley’s is good. It is definitely worth a visit if you’re in town. The brisket is tender and juicy, even when shredded.
But, I just wasn’t blown away by the place or the food. Some of the best BBQ I’ve had stayed with me for days. It lingered in my nostrils. It taught my tastebuds to scoff at mere meat. It made me appreciate art manifested as food. Those places seemed, oddly, holy.
Stanley’s doesn’t have that vibe. It’s good, but it won’t make you grateful you got the joy of eating there.

Our visit to this barbecue joint was nothing short of a culinary revelation. It's the kind of place that leaves you convinced it deserves a spot on the Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ list. Sadly it was only Top 100.
The brisket was a masterpiece. The meat had a great pull to it, yielding just enough resistance before melting in your mouth. The smoke ring was a beautiful, deep pink that went all the way through, showing off the slow, deliberate cook time. The bark was thick and peppery, providing a perfect textural contrast to the tender meat.
The jalapeño cheddar sausage was another highlight. The spice level was spot on—just a hint of heat from the jalapeños that complemented the savory, melty cheese without overpowering it. The medium grind gave the sausage a fantastic, hearty texture.
Finally, the ribs were everything you hope for. The meat had an incredible flavor and was so tender it practically fell off the bone. The sauce was a perfect blend of sweet and tangy, enhancing the pork without masking its natural deliciousness.
This place is a true Texas barbecue gem.

Every trip to Tyler means a stop at Stanley's. The food is always exceptional, but today it was at a different level. Maddie A greeted us at the counter and really made us feel welcome. She even took the time to check on us and made our grandson feel special. Customer service at its best.

Kind of a weird set up you enter down below and order then you find a spot on the upper levels to eat. I had pork ribs, turkey and brisket. And yes that is in order of yumminess. I loved the ribs. I ordered 3 and got 5 so that is a bonus. 2 of the ribs were really small and a little crispy but the other 3 were tender, delicious and well seasoned. The turkey was tender and good with a slight Smokey flavor. Now everything about the brisket was fantastic except the flavor. It was tender, moist and the seasoning on the exterior of the cut but it was good but the actual meat was missing a good smokey flavor. Finally the bbq sauce was mid. Basically ketchup with pepper in it. Not impressed with the sauce. So hopefully it was an off day for the brisket and you have a better experience.
