Our first time dinning here and are very satisfied! Walking in it smells like a seafood restaurant! We ordered catfish strips with fries. The food was piping hot, tasty, and no belly fat on the thick strips! May I mention the battered fries were crispy and the best I've had in a while! Outstanding and polite staff makes this place a definite come back for more.

This establishment will charge you premium prices for catfish, but instead serve you swai fish. Upon notifying the manager, she claimed that swai is the only fish they have, with the only difference being the breading. This response is unacceptable. I have always been a loyal customer of The Catch, but the management is subpar. The manager demonstrated a lack of understanding and further stated that the same fish is served at Happys, which is precisely why I avoid ordering fish from that establishment.

Had the Fried White Fish and some Jumbo Fried Shrimp both were good cooked fresh to order with fries and a couple of Hushpuppys the Hushpuppys were really good and the Fries were okay most Fries are about the same no matter where you get them. It was a reasonable price for what you got because the Fish pieces were large and the place was clean and Didn't have a Fish Smell like some places that serve Fish

We always eat here when we come to Tyler cause my husband loves there fried fish and red beans and rice and of course I try something different Everytime. This particular time I got the half and half boil and it had a horrible smell I ate 1 shrimp and it was gross so I looked at everything and I believe it was molded cause it had green and white spots. They offered to fix another or refund but I wasn't taking any chances so I took the refund. I was so sad cause we love eating here and that one incident made me not want to ever eat there again. Cause if I smelled it I know they did but yet they still decided to serve it to me. Oh yeah by the time I made it home I vomited and stomach was upset the whole day. The service and atmosphere was excellent though. I wish I had gotten a picture but I was so upset cause I love boils.

It was our first visit, and the best we’ve experienced in Smith County, so far. Other Crawfish/Catfish/Shrimp holes here are Good & Satisfying, but this was the best. Costumer service was all smiles and Johnny on the spot. Not too pricey, and quality is 🎯. Their Cajun dipping sauce is phenomenal. Cole Slaw was East Coast (North Carolina) style, 😋🥰My favorite. When I’m hunger, I can eat anything, anywhere, but everything here really stood out and my Rhonda gives it ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🏆. That’s the ringer.
Absolutely fantastic meal at The Catch in Tyler! I got the large whitefish basket, and it was cooked to perfection. The batter on the fish was incredibly crispy, revealing fluffy, fresh whitefish inside that tasted amazing. The fries had a unique light batter that was also delicious. While I don't eat tartar sauce, it looked fresh, and the remoulade was a standout. Everything was cooked to order, tasted extremely fresh, and the pricing is excellent for the quality of seafood you get. Highly recommend!

My wife was in a fish mood, so we stopped in at The Catch for a quick meal. im not much for fish, so i ordered the chicken po boy sandwich. It far exceeded my expectations. The battered fries are also very good. My wife really enjoyed the fish, so i expect to be back again.

Had uber deliver. I had the white fish and shrimp, both fried. I ordered cocktail sauce and balsamic dressing. Cocktail sauce for the shrimp and the balsamic for the fish. Oh my balsamic on the fish was heavenly. Like malted vinegar but also sweet. Just delectable. Highly recommend.
