We had a great experience at the Diner in Tyler. It was our first time there and we will be back. Melissa was amazing and attentive but not too much so. She really did a great job of reading the room and understanding when to approach us. The water was outstanding and with that you know the food will be quality. The coffee was excellent and the portions were great plenty to take home. Prices were lower than expected which was a bonus! Thanks for excellent service and great first experience. We will be back and we will be bringing more people 😊

Disappointing experience today. Food came out at separate times. My waitress (unsure name pixie cut) brought my plate out and gave it to another party at the table and later came back to tell us she’d actually given him my plate and his had to be remade. I allowed that member at the table to keep my pancakes since I suspected his order of the same pancakes would be out soon. They finally brought out his plate 30 min later(after everyone is pretty much done eating) still no pancakes. I was assured the pancakes would be out soon. We paid and we’re getting ready to leave… still no pancakes. I inquired about the pancakes she said oh yes. She had gone back to the back and grabbed 1 pancake. Which she packaged and brought me not thinking I’d check. My order came with 2 pancakes… not 1. I know this because the original order she brought out had 2. So today was a very less than satisfactory experience. I’m all for staff having fun and playing around on the job but if u can’t provide quality service as well that’s the problem. The quality of service shouldn’t be less than no matter how close to closing u are.
