For the price I was not impressed.Staff was not very friendly. We will not be returning. We dine out for entertainment, was not a fun experience .

Very bad. Roast Turkey looked like canned meat. Colorless and greasy. The veggies were ok. Seriously, disappointed and was expensive for the meal I got. Will not return.Parking: Lots of open spots. Food bad so not a lot if customers I assume.

7 Months pregnant & decided to get something healthy. As I was eating my spinach I felt something hard. I thought maybe it was a bone. When I spit it out it was a BEETLE ! Omg, I almost ate a BEETLE! I called the restaurant immediately. The manger said that they buy the food frozen and it possible came to them that way. I’m mortified and so disappointed! I even took a picture for proof, unfortunately it won’t let me upload it !

I love this place. Don’t mind driving 45 minutes to go eat here. It’s the closest we have to Luby’s.

My family and I visited Traditions in Tyler, TX today and the service we received from the “manager” (his name was ARMONDO) was TERRIBLE. We received a glass that clearly had lip marks on it and told Armondo (in a respectful way) about it. His response was “I’m not sure what they do in the Kitchen!” No apology, or anything. He then says “We also don’t polish our glasses so I’m not sure what you want me to do about it.” Well, since he couldn’t do anything about it I’m sending pictures to the health department. With covid going around, the glasses should be thoroughly CLEANED. A new/clean glass should not still have marks from someone’s lips. His attitude was terrible especially with him being a “manager.” People like Armondo makes you just want to get up and go elsewhere. Pitiful! Won’t be back.

Our first visit to Traditions did not disappoint. We were not expecting to see a cafeteria line since there aren’t many anymore, but we were pleasantly surprised. The Sunday crowd was large, but the line moved along at a moderate pace. My husband got the seafood pasta while I had the honey ham with dressing, cranberry sauce, and gravy. Those items along with our sides were delicious. The portions were generous, and the price of $43 was reasonable for the amount of food we received, The restaurant was clean with ample seating for the after church crowd. The service was good and the employees friendly. Since we live in Kilgore, we can easily go back and we will. Thank you, Traditions, for an excellent down home meal.

On July 26,22 me and my family were out eating and we had an issue. So we asked to speak to the manager Armondo.Off the bat he was extremely rude,he walked off as we were talking to him.Had a very smart mouth and wasn't trying to hear anything we had to say.As a manager he should've handled that situation way different then he did.His attitude was HORRIBLE,won't be back. However Socorrow was AMAZING and she wasn't even our waiter. That tells you a lot right there, she had great energy and was just overall amazing!!

I so hate to write this negative review but to save others from the experience we had this evening I feel it necessary. Food was mildy warm at best and it appeared most had been kept warm after a likely small lunch crowd. Deserts were such a different taste than what you would expect and not in a good way. If you have to eat here for some reason go with a veggie plate, hard to mess that up.Suggestion to MGMT, close during the week as I am sure by the lack of customers we saw your bound to be losing money. Open on weekends so food is fresher, and consider a new chef or food distributor as there is no traditional flavor in the foods being served.

This was my first time there, and I wonder why I've been passing by without stopping. The food, service and atmosphere was great. Staff was friendly and professional.

The food was pretty good. The staff was friendly. Prices seemed a little high unless you strictly got the special 'plates'. Probably won't be going back anytime soon, just because the quality of the food was subpar to the price I paid. $50 for two adult meals and inside salads and dessert. It's a cafeteria, not a steakhouse.
