Cookies and samples we had were basic for cookies. Nothing really special. This is a take and go spot. Has been in Tyler for a very long time.

My babyshower cake was SO beautiful, I loved it so much! Although, I didn’t even get to try the vanilla side, because of greed at my shower. I definitely would like to order my elopement cake here at village bakery. the chocolate side was so moist and soft and yummy.. OMG I just know that the vanilla side would have been EVEN BETTER! I may need to order a personal cake just for me and dad to try. Dad didn't even get a slice of cake which is sad. We definitely had enough cake for everybody (I just think it was that good) and of course people took some to-go without our consent.
Also we had come into town from Arkansas, and didn’t have any to take back with us.
This cake feeds up to 90 people, it was about 50-65 people there, PLENTY OF CAKE!
When my mom placed the order she told me to call back and give them details on how I wanted it decorated.. the pictures match what I wanted, the bakers did an amazing job, it looked exactly how I visioned it. Simple quick process, I told them I wasn’t “boujie” just wanted it to taste good and look good, and they NAILED IT!! ✨🎉🎉
Definitely WILL be recommending this company..

The food is absolutely the best I have tasted ! I mean that! I went back the followingweek and once again loved the baked sweets! They use only top ingredients and have been around for 75 years! Highly recommendthis place!

I ordered some cupcakes and what they called "party tarts" for my wedding. When I ordered everything, I specifically asked for rosettes for topping for the cupcakes, which was the most decor they could do. When I picked everything up the day before the wedding, there were no rosettes on the cupcakes and the "party tarts" were freakin cookies. During the wedding, I tasted the cupcakes that had the burgundy icing on them and they were awful. You could taste the massive amount of red food coloring they put in the icing (they make no-taste red icing by the way) and it tasted of pure sugar. I was not impressed, what so ever.
I would most definitely not suggest ever getting any kind of small desserts for a big event since they will not be what you expect (call it a tart and I get mini cookies) and it will certainly not taste how you would expect. I went with this bakery because of the reviews, but apparently no one who has ordered cupcakes or "party tarts" from them left a review. I was extremely displeased with the fact that I paid $135 for 30 cupcakes and 30 mini cookies that never even got eaten.
