Never had Greek food before today but the Gyros are so delicious. Both beef and chicken (schwarma) Gyros were tasty and the serving size was plentiful, they definitely didnt skimp out on the portions. Got 2 Gyros and side of kabob fries with beef (try with Sriracha mayo sauce they have) for just under $40.

I absolutely love What About Kabob & His Gyros in Tyler—everything I’ve tried has been mouth‑wateringly delicious! The OG gyro served on a bed of seasoned fries is simply fabulous—crispy fries, perfectly cooked lamb or chicken shawarma, and that creamy, tangy original tiki sauce tie it all together. The Philly gyro—with grilled peppers, onions, mushrooms, and melty provolone—is another standout. The tzatziki is delightful, and their spicy sauces bring a satisfying kick.

Both the chicken shawarma and the lamb/beef gyro are outstanding—juicy, well-seasoned, and never dry. I’ve never had a single bad item here!

We went tonight for the first time and it was delicious. My husband and I were impressed with the food but also how clean everything was. The employees were also very kind. Highly recommend.

This place is awesome. The staff is very kind and educational on menu items. Never felt rushed or inconvenienced. The food is amazing. Quite possibly the best fries I’ve ever had. I will be a regular here. It’s rare post 2020 to get great food and service all at once. Fantastic small business that can teach the large chains a thing or two in what people are looking for.

After moving into the area, I've had my list of places to try for for a great Gyro.

I have a high bar set because I've had some great Gyro Sandwiches. I tried one other place in Tyler and it was decent but a bit farther than I wanted to drive.

I ordered the OG Gyro and an extra side of fries.

Gyro was amazing! The fries were outstanding! Crisp on the outside and hot in the middle.

I am relieved to now have a go to spot for when I'm craving a gryo.

The girl that took my order was very friendly and I felt welcomed and comfortable dining in. The bathrooms were very clean as well was the dining area.

If you're looking for a solid gyro with a twist or some loaded fries with a fusion flair, Kabob & His Gyros is definitely worth a visit. The portions were generous, and the flavors were spot on. I’d definitely come back to try more of their menu!
