Good food, good service pleasant atmosphere. Only thing that was disappointing was the salad. Just iceberg and shredded carrots with one tomato.

Soup tasted like it came from a can. Main entree had no flavor. Tomato sauce tasted like Prego. My son found an eyelash in his food. Really disappointed.

Honestly, I can’t think of a better way to describe this place other than it being a horrible experience with awful tasting ingredients. I don’t know how people can rate this five stars. The food came out cold, making it already unpleasant, the service made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Just overall terrible food… I hope the owner isn’t the one writing reviews

This Italian restaurant made my Saturday lunch fantastic! The atmosphere was bright and cheerful, perfect for a midday break. I dove into the chicken arrabiata - wow, the flavors were incredible! It had just the right amount of kick to it! To finish, we couldn't resist sharing a slice of their heavenly Italian cream cake. It was like a dream - creamy, sweet, and absolutely delicious. Highly recommend checking this place out for a delightful Saturday lunch!Parking: Shared parking lot with other restaurants in the location.

We dined at Bella Sera Italian Restaurant off Pat Booker Rd. They are behind Mr. Gattis. The restaurant itself is kept very clean. We started our meal with the Mozzarella Caprese appetizer, which truly stood out as a highlight. I loved it. While the salad was enjoyable, it was more on the standard side. For our main courses, I opted for the shrimp linguine, and my husband tried the pasta sampler. Both dishes were satisfying. This place exudes a cozy, mom-and-pop charm that is perfect for a quick and casual meal. It strikes me as the type of place you visit when you're looking for a simple and unpretentious dining experience. Overall I would describe it as decent and average.

We tried this place last night on recommendation from a family member. It did NOT disappoint. We went in about an hour before closing, which I hate to do to the workers, but, oh my goodness!!The calamari was some of the best I’ve had, and good size portions. I got the shrimp Florentine and my daughter the chicken Alfredo pizza! She ordered the medium bc we didn’t know that it would easily feed 2 people and we’re snacking on leftovers today! The food was amazing, the service was quality. Highly recommend for amazing authentic Italian food in the Universal City area. So much better than our usual go to of Olive Garden. They are a family owned place I believe, so please go support them!P.s. I didn’t take any photos bc I was too busy stuffing my face?, but wish I would have for reference.

My granddaughter and I went to this restaurant to eat this evening. I had chicken parmigiana with alfredo it was cooked to perfection and it was hot my granddaughter had chicken marsala and she said she was very good. We have salad to go with it and everything in the salad was so fresh you could tell they had just made it. We had the mozzarella sticks and they were delicious and the cheese was melty in the middle the little rose that are served with the food are really good they look like they're made right there at the time. We found this to be a really good experience eating there, and we definitely will be back I would highly recommend this place to anyone

First time getting to try Bella Sera in Universal City and I got to say for the past 9 years of looking for a good Italian restaurant this one is by far my favorite. Great food and very fast service, kind customer service, and a great eating environment. Food was hot and Fresh and the cheese sticks melt in your mouth. The chicken soup was out of this world. Will definitely be coming back for sure to try new and exciting dishes. Highly recommend the Pasta Trio if your new, great starting dish for new comers.

We ordered delivery and didn’t get the notification from our driver that it was delivered until almost 20 minutes after it got here. The food was still piping hot though and honestly the best Italian food I have had in this city. The price range is amazing, omg the LOBSTER RAVIOLI was amazing. Everything was absolutely delicious. We ordered at the end of the night so we didn’t get a chance to order soup or the lemoncello but we will be coming here earlier in the day to try both. Highly recommend, this place is a true gem!
