Big Aloha's Aliʻi Cove Reviews
Supporting small family owned businesses is one of my favorite things to do, and Big Aloha's Ali'i Cove absolutely delivered!
We recently used their catering menu for a special gathering, and from start to finish, the customer service was phenomenal. They even worked with our Sunday event date to make everything happen. The food was fresh, authentic, and delicious so much so the teri beef, fried noodles, mochiko chicken, mac salad, and cupcakes disappeared fast.

Definitely would recommend this place! If you're from the Aina and you missed the real home cook meal then this is the place!
Been going here for years and will continue to go (we used to come from Houston and this was always our first stop😋). Awesome owners (Kalani and Mel) and Staff! Coming here is like visiting somewhere back home - Welcoming and full of Aloha. Food is on point. Follow on FB for specials/updated menu items/highlights. Highly recommend to anyone looking for an authentic taste of the islands. 🤙🤙

Based on six reviews, Big Aloha's Aliʻi Cove is a small, family-owned restaurant located in Universal City off Pat Booker Road. The interior is clean and appropriately themed, and while it is tucked away and not much to look at on the outside, the experience begins with the staff. The staff, owner, and everyone in between are genuinely good people, super friendly, and obviously love what they do. They provide phenomenal customer service and work with event dates, welcoming guests warmly even close to closing time. The food is made fresh to order, authentic, and delicious. Specific meals mentioned include the spicy pork, spicy ahi poke, teri beef, fried noodles, mochiko chicken, mac salad, cupcakes, plate Kalbi, plate chicken katsu, and spicy chicken katsu. The food quality, taste, smell, and texture are superb, with big portions that taste just like home back in Hi. The food disappears fast because everyone is too busy enjoying it. It is highly recommended to all ohana and friends who visit San Antonio.
