Capo's Pizzeria Universal City

Has to be the worst pizza place in town. Super slow. Unsanitary . Rude. Terrible all around.

I was in town yesterday for a party and I searched up pizza places in the area since I’m not familiar and drove in from Corpus Christi, this place had good pics of pizza and a few good reviews about it so I called to place an order for pickup, the guy that answered said they don’t take orders over the phone because some people don’t show up so I told him I’d just drive because I couldn’t dine in so he told me that he’d just start my order and asked what I wanted. I was about 18 minutes away from this place hoping I’d only wait a few minutes to get what I had ordered, I get there and another guy tells me they don’t take orders over the phone and I told him I was told that but that I was told they would still go ahead and start my order and that’s why I drove their way and he said no order was put in, it would take 20-30 minutes for my food. I didn’t have that time because I still had to drive back. I love pizza but wouldn’t go here because of how they wasted my time and lied.

Very convenient location!! Good variety of food! We had chicken tenders, pizza rolls, garlic knots, as well as mozzarella sticks! All very, very good!!

So Menu prices apparently are only CASH price. Ordered 10 wings. Guy said total.was $18. I wasn't even thinking when I handed him $20 cash. When I got home I realized he only gave me back $2. The wings were $15 something. So.why the heck did I pay $18.for 10 wings?????? Watch for the price and ask why there is a huge difference from menu. There food is great. Not complaining about that. Just feel like I got ripped off.

Ordered food Friday 8/30 online right when their stated hours said they were open, got a call an hour later saying they opened late and the oven takes 45 minutes to heat up. We cancelled the order due to time but then had to file a credit card dispute cause they weren’t able to void the transaction. When did ordering pizza become so difficult?

Just went to grab a slice of pizza. The place seemed like a nice bar where you can get pizza. The guy working was extremely nice and went above and beyond. I got a cheese slice. Really inexpensive. I was surprised. Crust was great but I'm picky about sauce and it was okay. It was fresh and hot. I didnt feel like i wasted my money. All in all it was decent. I Will have to go back to take the whole place in. But to get a slice of pizza on the go, I'd go again.

I normally do Not post to Complain... I ordered Capos Pizza at the New location on Pat Booker Road thru Door Dash. The Toppings were Wrong, I ordered 4 topping on one Pizza and 2 Topping on the other Slice. It was Ice Cold Pizza and Hard as A Rock from Capos! Pizza has probably been Sitting out all afternoon long. Capos Pat Booker location will NOT answer their phone, so I contacted the Bar that Capos serve their Pizza in and The Waitress from the Bar on Pat Booker Road was very Rude and hateful! Never will I step foot in that Little Bar (used to be Roxys) and have their Capos Pizza they serve there again. Awful Food and Awful Experience. I Love the Capos on Broadway, but this location has Got to GO! Ok I'm done venting. Sorry y'all I was Hungry. Lol I Gotta give Credit to Door Dash for helping me and reimbursing me for the trouble ? I also got a salad and spent $25 including the Tip

I like this place but the hours seriously need revising. Multiple times Ive tried calling but not till I try ordering online do I get a “closed” notification despite google hours listing it as open. Not sure if its staffing issues but other than that Ive had really good stuff from here… when I can get it.

Ordered a pizza, Stromboli and some sandwiches for lunch to go. Order was placed at 11:28am and didn't get it until 12:30pm. When I arrived at noon to pick up the food the man working there said he hadn't had a chance to start yet. Which was annoying but I know it's in a bar and not an actual restaurant so I didn't complain. The main issue was that the food was wretched. I really like the food at the other Capo's location and this place should not have the same name because the food here tastes like it was out of the freezer section. Also the Stromboli was didn't unsafe to eat. The cheese tasted like it was sour.
