We did takeout from here today and the food was very good. We ordered two of the Holy Crab Trios which consisted of very generous portions of Deep fried Catfish, Large Gulf fried Shrimp and Oysters, fries and onion rings, garlic bread and sides of Coleslaw. We also ordered Naked Cajun Chicken Wings. All of the food was well seasoned and very tasty. We would definitely recommend and will certainly return. I especially loved the Large Gulf fried Shrimp. Looking forward to trying the Beignets and a Root beer float on the next order.
Penne pasta and Holy trio were very tasty. The fried boudin balls were a great starter. The breading mix was spot on tasty. Portion sizes were just right. I would definitely recommend giving the place a try.
It’s good but they can be better, maybe change or clean the oil, everything else was good and good service from the waitressBut I would have liked to have some plates to eat the appetizer and not eat on napkins
Great atmosphere to watch the game and have some great Cajun dishes. Had the Banana Foster dessert and was amazing.
Holy Crab just opened under new management and they are doing a great job. Fantastic service and maybe the best catfish po'boy we've ever had. Loved the gumbo and the Bannas Foster was as tasty as it was fun to watch.
Kid-friendliness: Good kids menu and the staff was amazing with them.
We walked in on a Friday night and no one else was in this restaurant. That is usually my que to leave fast but we had a gift certificate that we won at a casino night and needed to get it used.I had the catfish with macaroni and cheese and coleslaw. I got the fish grilled. My husband had the seafood platter with fried catfish, shrimp and spicy hush puppies. The portions were puny but for once, that was good because everything tasted bad. Even the iced tea was horrible. Then they didn't want to honor the gift certificate they donated to casino night because of the date on it. The date on it was expired when we won it because the event had to be postponed. They finally did honor the certificate after some back and forth with the manager. We will never return to this restaurant. The service was not bad but the food was either tasteless or tasted horrible!!
I was visiting The San Antonio area to visit my sister. We are from the East coast and love blue crabs. We tried Holy crab because the menu online listed blue crab, snow crab and crab boils. The server( older woman ) was not very kind. Any questions we asked appeared to annoy her. No blue crab on the day we went. I ordered the snow crab boil. I asked for butter garlic with a touch of old bay seasoning and MILD spice. My mouth was on fire. I asked for a bowl of water to remove some of the spice. I tried to eat it but could not. I told the waitress it was way too spicy. We were happy at how quickly our food arrived but realized they were probably already made. They did not care we asked for Mild spice. I asked for a $ 9.99 lunch special of fried shrimp. The $18.99 crab boil lunch is not worth it. We paid extra for broccoli m. It came with a tiny piece of corn and two potatoes. I handed the server my crab boil back. She did not take the 18.99 crab boil off of my bill but at least she did not charge me for the additional fried shrimp. I was very disappointed in the service but we love crabs so we stayed. If my sister ever goes again, she will ask for naked crabs because Mild does not exist here.,Holy crab was not very holy at all. The fried shrimp n French fries were very good. The fries were cooked perfectly so I left satisfied. My mouth was on fire for about two hours.
This place is ok to get a quick fix on crawfish. The portion size is ok, but they only gave small crawfish with our order. The seasoning is tasty, but you don't really taste it with the meat only on the corn and baked potatoes. Would suggest getting a loaf of bread to dip in with the seasoning. They have an eat-in restaurant, but we typically get take-out. Beware this will smell up your car as most seafood will. They are on Doordash as another option. We have not tried any other seafood dishes. From my experience, it's okay. I suggest giving it a try.On another note, if you dine in or do take out do not order close to closing time. We did once (about an hour until closing) and the crawfish was rubber - probably leftover from day's cooking. If you order best to do it when they open or around lunchtime it is fresh.
Great food,service was amazing.
It was very clean. Shrimp are cornmeal crusted and big. Salad was fresh. Good tea. Onion rings and calamari are not homemade which was discouraging. A little too much salt for my taist but everything was hot and not fishy so that's a big plus. Would like to try the boil to see how that is. Going to go at least one more time for that.

the food is delicious, the employees are very friendly and attentive to their customers. And the prices aren't to bad there either
They have so many options on food! The Vietnamese snails are definitely something you must try! Also I love their Bo luc lac! The seasoning is awesome!
I hope ya have a better experience than us. We got there and sat down had one couple there and 2 servers. Servers both complaining of who was gonna take care of us so a young guy brought us our menus.Maybe a owner or manager.Order our drinks less to say my cup smell like fabuloso or something .Though it was a dirty mop or something . We usually order 9 pounds of crawfish .well first time here we gave 3pounrs a chance and some shrimp .This was supposed to be spicy no flavor at all we had to ask for extra seasoning and butter .Waiter complain how she didn’t have anyone here yet she didn’t want to take us. Needless to say I ended up throwing up the crawfish and we still threw away food . Definitely upsetting wish i had a decent experience
We didn't know what to expect when we walked in. Pleasantly surprised. We ordered the weekend special with their special sauce. Excellent. The service was some of the best we've ever had. The waitress taught us how to properly open the blue crab. And explained the restaurant. Turns into a kareoke bar later in the evening and serves Vietnamese cuisine for the rest of the night. They stay open as long there are customers singing. Definitely will be regulars from now on.
The place was clean & the food was good! They were short staffed but will still be a new favorite spot!
