I noticed the Closed sign on the door the last week or so. Today I heard the reasoning behind that sign on the door. I send my best wishes to the family who took that store over this year. You all were doing good things there and it's a shame for what happened and how it played out.
The pizza and gelato here is amazing. The pizza is like New York style pizza with the thin cripsy crust and all the ingredients are fresh. The Gelato is exactly like the real authentic stuff they eat in Italy. Lots of really good and even rare flavors (for example the old world spumoni). Seriously the gelato tastes exactly like the Gelato you can eat in the gelaterie in Rome. Incredibile to be able to find this in San Antonio! Customer service is also very friendly and attentive....
This location is iffy. It honestly depends on what day you come on. One day it'll be great and then the next day will be bad. It all just depends. Granted, it has gone down hill over the last several months. It used to be way better but just isn't the same.
