I took some friends here for lunch, and honestly, none of us would come back. The atmosphere was nice, but the food didn’t live up to the price.

The onion rings and fries were both crispy, but they were way too greasy. The first thing I noticed when I bit into the onion rings was the oil.

We sat outside, and the ketchup bottle was almost empty. The Tabasco looked old and gross, so we didn’t even want to use it. The other condiment bottles looked dirty too which gave us a bad impression.

I also wish they offered plates for sharing. I don’t remember if they used to ask how I wanted my burger cooked, but this time the patty was dry and tasted a little too beefy for my liking.

Overall, we all agreed that Whataburger is a better burger for the price. Paying $22.72 for just one burger, without a drink, including a 15% tip, just didn’t feel worth it.

We love Hangar 6! The food and service is always great. It’s so fun to hang outside under their nice covered patio and watch planes fly in and out. There is a great space for kids to play as well! It’s always a treat to stop by when we’re in Uvalde :)

I had the Stearman burger...it had arugula Swiss cheese fried egg tomato jam and a hint of balsamic. Amazing.
Husband had the T6 I think. Bacon and onion rings pepper jack cheese and BBQ sauce also super. The onion rings had a nice batter kinda reminds me of long John silver batter with out the fishy taste of course.
It wad Saturday 11am and they were not busy at all....go visit it was great. And you get to see some planes fly in

Great place to eat. I ordered double not realizing the portion size. The onion ring tower was double dipped amazing and our waitress was attentive and extremely nice! Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Took Clients for lunch after the new opening. It used to be good but the food was pretty bad. Lemon Pepper Chicken wings were too salty to eat. Burgers are half the size they were before and they changed the burger menu. Fries were good. My clients ordered steak fingers. They were dry and overcooked. Highly disappointed and wont return, especially not with clients. They are only quarter as good as before. Bill for one burger, two steak finger baskets and one order of chicken wings starter was over $100.

Such a cool place.
Planes and helicopters.
The food was excellent, fantastic cocktail and our server Abby was the sweetest thing ever. AND it's dog friendly! We were in the area for 2 days and loved it so much, we went both days!

Love this place! Food is great and the outdoor seating area is amazing on a nice day. It's fun to eat and watch the planes fly. Plus the menus have a ton of info about the history of the airport. Really interesting.

Tried the Cuban Sandwich and it was delicious. Need to try the Coleslaw that was so good.I would come back for that. Hubby got the Chicken Fried chicken and that was good too. The chicken breast nice and tender.

Horrible place. Food was greasy- and the young lady serving us had a terrible attitude from start to finish when she had the nerve to flip the screen at me for a tip. Not an overly bright woman it appears

I’ll be honest, the Hangar’s food used to be pretty hit or miss. It got to the point where we stopped going as often because we were rarely satisfied. But recently, I went back with some friends for the first time in a long while, and I was blown away. Every plate at our table was picture-perfect and packed with flavor. The staff has always been friendly - sometimes a little rushed, but that’s understandable. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I’m glad we gave it another shot. Highly recommend the cheese curds, shrimp tacos, fettuccine alfredo, any of the burgers, and of course the mile high club!
