This place has the audacity to charge an extra fee now to just get a special …. For years up its been the same now since today they changed their requirements to buy the special you have to get a drink just to get it , even if you get a water it still an additional fee. On the website it still says the same information not that you also need to get anything extra. This is absolutely ridiculous, you lost business with more than just me and I won’t be going back! Don’t waste your time and go somewhere else!

Was just passing through, when I found this gem. Upon first walking in was treated as we belonged. The waitress was spot on. I accaden left my credit card. Was 5 hours away when I realized. Thay mailed it to my house with a thank you note for eating with them. Top notch owner. Will definitely eat there again if I am ever in uvalde.

Server was good but food was not giving what it was suppose to. Got the steak and looked like a hamburger patty was SUPER SALTY and dry I could scrape off the seasoning. Steak smelled like old meat. Didn’t finish my plate. Family members ordered the chicken(was dried & looked nothing like picture) chicken fried steak(hard and roughy) mac&cheese(tasted like flour and clumpy) the only thing good there was the burger and the bread with honey.

Walked in a wasn’t welcomed but given stares from servers . Steak was salty where you can scrap off the seasoning. Mac and cheese tasted like flour was clumpy. Chicken was dried. Server was amazing loved that. Chicken fried steak was tough. Plate gave nothing like the picture on menu… came from the valley and wasn’t impressed at all. 956 all the way. Total was $180 for not great food

Jack did a great job. Soup was delicious, rib eye steak and potato awesome. My wife had the sirloin and sweet potato that were superb. Jack even convinced us to have the IBC root beer float.

I was in Uvalde, TX conducting business meetings this past week at Jack’s Steak House. I had 3 meetings there for lunch and dinner. The service was great, the food was delicious and delivered on time! I’d like to thank Jack and Claudia for taking care of me and all of my guests. This restaurant is definitely a place that I will visit again!
