Rarely have food, that isn’t home cooked, make me say “oh my gosh” so many times! Seriously, amazing. Just let them take your money. Eat it. The tripa gordita is everything. I want more ?
Fantastic! Best Gordita in the Cosmos. Ignore the negative posts, this place is worth a 2000+ mile trip to experience. Tripa Gordita is phenomenal!

The food was amazing, drink was good as well. Service was okay but not the best.
This place is a real find. Helpful at window with spicy or not spicy. Sampled before ordering. Cool joint.
This is going to be one of the strangest reviews you've probably read! The fact of the matter is my wife and I had ordered our food and were so offended by the cashier that we drove off without paying or getting our food. As I'm writing this I still can't believe what I heard from this obviously ignorant employee. After we chose our gorditas and ingredients I asked if they had Mexican cokes. Everyone who works in a restaurant knows or should know that Mexican cokes are made in Mexico with cane sugar and I believe taste better than those bottled here. My wife is Mexican-American, I lived in Mexico for many years, and we presently reside in San Antonio so we understand all aspects of the Hispanic culture. Well, instead of a simple "No, I'm sorry we don't" the cashier said that it was a racist comment. Even after explaining that this is the term for cokes made in Mexico and that I meant no offense he continued to talk in a condescending manner. I tried calling the business to talk with the manager or owner before writing this review but the number was disconnected. I'm not one to complain over a misunderstanding so I wanted to give him a chance to apologize and educate his employee. Writing this review was the only available option to let potential customers know about this horrendous experience. We had seen this place on Daytripper and were dying to try it. However, my wife and I both agreed that no food can be so delicious that you have to accept an insult with your meal.
The carne guisada gorditas are very good. Make sure you ask for guacamole to be added. Get the pocket special in order to get rice and beans along with the gordita. This place only accepts cash.
