First, I want to apologize to the barista that was working today. We always try to check the hours so that we’re not holding up any employees at closing time, but somehow today we didnt realize they closed at 12 and we got there about 10 minutes before that. We ended up sitting and keeping her about 45 minutes past closing time 🤦♀️ that being said, she was so kind and not once did we feel like we were being rushed or feel like an inconvenience to her (although she would have been completely right to ask us to hurry). That right there speaks volumes about the customer service you can find at this establishment! As for the coffee, we got the Latte in the Raw and the current special, the Chocolate Covered Strawberry Latte and they were both delicious! Haven’t tried the bread or cinnamon rolls we got to go get, but they look amazing!! We will be back!

I was not impressed the only thing fresh was the bread. Had the range club, it was dry chicken was definitely not cooked here not sure if the bacon was either for that matter. Was supposed to have mayo on the sandwich but it was so dry it was hard to swallow. It took roughly 35 minutes to get out not sure why a sandwich with premade ingredients took so long to make. Like I said the bread was fresh and good but this is not a place I would stop at again.

The only place far and wide where you can get something decent to eat. There are fresh blueberries and strawberries with the porridge. There is also something like banana bread here.

We had a great lunch here! The food was fresh and delicious. I saw some reviews mentioning small portions, but I found the portion sizes to be just right. The salad bar was also fresh and tasty. I would definitely recommend this place and will be coming back!
Came a few years ago.. Nothing to write home about. My experience today was abysmally awful. They were serving about six items, all of which were ridiculously priced. The food was honestly terrible. For two single biscuits with gravy, a slice of quiche, a half “parfait” (which was just a scoop of yogurt in a bowl) and two cups of coffee it was about $30. The food was bland and tasted dreadful The coffee was horrible as well. I remember the food being okay last time, but it seems like Uvalde is just losing its touch all over. Never coming back.

I'm updating this review because my jokey previous one came off as short and flippant.
Open range has some of the best diner breakfast probably in the state of texas. They have some really great bakery items and I think the staff is lovely and very attentive.
I just wished they were open more often
