Honestly the fries that I didn’t ask for ended up being the best part of the meal.
Chips were I don’t know not good
And bill was pretty pricey for only a couple of dishes of food (wasn’t given a receipt just a total but our kids were in a rush out)
My kiddo likes his taco and the fries were good.

I never thought that mexican food and bland went together. But this restaurant has magically infused the two. Ordered shrimp Diablo. I literally got shrimp with bright red paste with no flavor. And to top it off it was cold. I couldn't attempt to take another bite. So let try something else. Carne Adidas burrito. They made it was hot, great job. They loaded it with meat, great job. But they said go search for flavor. I mean none. How is that possible in Texas. This close to Mexico. No flavor. My suggestion if you are in Van Horn, seek flavor elsewhere.

The restaurant was nice and the service was good. The tacos were not what we expected. They were completely different than the Mexican tacos we have eaten in the past. The taco was filled with, meat, cheese, lettuce, and tomato. No cilantro, no seasoning, no lime. It was also served with mushy rice and refried beans.

OMG I am a trucker and have always skipped past the Pilot in Van Horn TX but I ran low on available drive hours today and had to stop here! Checked out this restaurant because I just couldn’t do another Wendy’s burger! And this is now on my permanent list of best places to stop for great food!

Morning afternoon and evening ty food was good I had the loaded nachos, now the red sauce was hot and green mild i also had cantaloupe drink altogether i enjoy my meal , be patient the waitress will come to ur table unless ur ordering Togo

First The food was good but while ordering the music from the kitchen was so loud the waitress didn’t hear what I said so my order was wrong. Then for the correction it was wrong again, guess why! Right the music was too loud. I actually waited and waited for a plate that never came.
