You can’t visit Vega if you don’t plan on stopping at Mama Jo’s!! This is a must! My husband and I had the most wonderful time here not only because of Mama Jo does what is likely to be the best pie in Texas but also because of her amazing hospitality. She has a really nice gift shop inside by the way! Can’t miss it.
Very nice place where you can have a delicious breakfast based on typical American desserts and cakes... we tasted them all... they were delicious! Highly recommended place!!!

I was wanting to get a pecan pie for friend I was going to be visiting.Found Mama Jo’s online and called.She saved me a freshly baked pie.Was plenty of room to park a 18 wheeler.the shop is delightful and the lady who owns and runs the place is as well.She also has sugar free pies.I tried one of those too and it was very good.
Cozy,warm and friendly.Grandma quilts on comfy chairs so nice to sit and have a coffee.Interesting pictures and antiques to look at.Come here.relax...
