Drive a bit further to this small town piece of heaven. My goodness can they cook up a mean plate food. We drove past Amarillo because of traffic and hastily searched for a restaurant. The gods were in our favor when we found this place. Small town comfort food cooked to perfection. I wish we lived closer. I'm from Los Angeles and let me tell you they cook amazing Mexican cuisine!
Great lil Mexican joint and Ms.Aprille nailed it with the best dish being the Stuffed Avacado with 1 chicken and 1 beef.. DELICIOUS PLATE AND GREAT HOSPITALITY.. Highly recommended??????????

As other raiders commented, the stuffed avocados are amazing. Deep fried with your choice of chicken or beef on top. Outstanding can't say enough about them. The service was wonderful also and the ambience was great.
