“I loved this bakery since 1971 when I first walked into this bakery way out south of Victoria on Refugio Hwy at the Halepaska Home kitchen . However now that it has changed owners I noticed that if you get there too late a lot of the best movers are sold out and it makes me wonder why they don't make more of that item? Things like blueberry turnovers or the delicious cheese rings . I also don't get such a warm reception anymore like when the wonderful Halepaska Family owned. I walked in one day close to closing time, and they where all talking to each other and seemed annoyed that I came in ?? But having said that, they still have the best cheese rings and blueberry turnovers that I ever had , even though they are understocked on that item“
