Well, it's finally happened. Happy Donuts, the last remaining Branch Covidian business in Orange County, has taken down its "Please wear a mask!!!" sign. This calls for a celebration: instead of me going to the Donut Palace in Pine Forest like usual, I started going to Happy Donuts. Porsche C will be happy to know that I went there immediately after my workout at Anytime Fitness, which is a few steps away. Really good. Fresh great selection at least at seven am. Nice friendly guy who seemed to be the owner working the counter. Fast service and clean. I'd definitely come again if I'm in Vidor.

Dropped in at 5 AM on a roadtrip and was pleasantly surprised to find they had a good selection of donuts and savory options! They had sausage kolaches (small, normal, jalapeño, boudin, and zummo style), croissant breakfast sandwiches, English muffin sausage sandwiches and I saw on the menu (not in the case) breakfast tacos.
