Took a tour in mid January. Heat was no issue. Decent parking area inside their premiss. The tasting area/bar area is a great atmosphere where you can order drinks and flights and get some souvenirs along with bottles to go. The servers were super friendly and knowledgeable of the spirits. From here you can check in for the tour. Went to Balcones Distillery for my business partner’s birthday and had a blast. The tour guide kept things interesting (even if the math questions almost took us out 😂). The tasting was awesome and we learned a ton about their rum, rye, and whiskey. 100% recommend!
My fiance and I booked the tour and got to the tasting room a little early, so we had a cocktail. The drinks were great and the bartenders were friendly. Our reservation did not start on time, but it was worth the wait. Cara did an amazing job, we asked lots of questions and she was able to answer all of them! We left with a bottle of their rye whisky and tons of laughs. Thanks for helping us have a great birthday weekend!
