Looked up this place on the web. Saw they had a Happy Hour with food and drinks. When my group arrived, we were told the Tuesday Happy Hour only included drinks...not food like what was/is advertised. Disappointed...the waiter said "I don't have anything to do with the website." Bad response. After receiving our drinks, we proceeded to order some House Made Chips until we figured out what we wanted to eat. Well, that was another false claim. The dishwasher brought out a plate of store bought chips that were poured out of a bag and presented as if they were House Made Chips. When asked the waiter if, indeed, this is what they did, his response was, "Yes."Needless to say, we left w/o ordering anything else. We lost faith in the integrity of the business.False advertisement abounds!

I went with some family that was in town and a few business associates. We ate as well as had a few drinks. The service was great, the food was delicious, and the service was top notch. The cooks even came out to greet us and ask how the food was. Miguel and Zack were awesome!!! Can't wait to try a different meal from those two cooks!

Stopped in and overall glad we did, food was well prepared, and good portions. We stopped in during the mid afternoon time, so the place was mostly empty. Well maintained, and clean. Service was ok. Wasn't great, wasn't bad, only real complaints were ordering water, and getting the order right. They bring you bottled water instead of tap. Wouldn't be a big deal, but we stopped in with 2 kiddos and asked for water for them. Wasn't told it would be bottle, and before we could ask, the server made sure to open it as she walked to the table. Luckily it wasn't a large charge, but would have been nice to have been told ahead of time. Kept us from deciding to order more than we did, felt like it was a purposeful up charge, and we weren't going to order more to see what else was going to be charged. The order wasn't a big order, and one of my kiddos ordered his food asking for a few things to be left off. It came as it was listed on the menu with everything we asked not to be on it. Would we go back.. possibly. Food was worth the trip back, but service seemed lacking.

Huge selection of whiskies (I really mean huge) and reasonably priced. I had the Old Fitz 17 BiB. Food was good and service was good too.

Wow, nothing I can say will explain how great they. We sat in no hurry and ordered. Our food was maybe 10 mins late and they treated us like royalty. This is so awesome. Everyone needs to try this place.

We did Sunday morning brunch. We were immediately seated and put in our order, but it took 50 minutes before our finally food arrived. I had the Southern Benedict, but the biscuit looked and tasted like canned biscuits, and the food was cold. We will not be going back.

I wouldn't recommend coming here during a planned event or if you're mostly coming for food. I have been here before and enjoyed it so decided to return. Very disappointed. Wasn't told before we ordered our appetizers and drinks that we essentially wouldn't be able to order anything else because of an event. This was not our waiters fault as he was also not made aware. I was told I wasn't going to be able to order the dish I went there for because of this event, after we'd already been there for about 40 minutes. Also, ordered the $18 charcuterie board that had, what looked like, pre cut cheese cubes from HEB (pepper Jack and Colby Jack), very little meat, non candied pecans, and hamburger type pickles. Just very disappointed.

This place is a lot of unpretentious fun in the middle of a bunch of baylor kid trap trash places. Great staff, good atmosphere and strong drinks. Recommended as long as you can find parking.

Thanks to Cody and Dezeray we loved our Brunch experience at Barnett's Whiskey House.Upon arrival we asked for water with LOTS of lemon while we decided what to order. Within a minute, we had our waters and a glass full of lemon wedges. Now that's service! Each of our party of three had a cocktail with her entree.A Cosmopolitan and Cobb SaladA Mimosa and the BLT SandwichA Bloody Mary and the Crab Cake BenedictBut there's so much more to choose from!Everything was delicious!!! We will be going back for Brunch!!!

Visited Waco and saw the selection of bourbons and whiskeys this place had and told my wife we had to try it. Selection was impressive! Ordered my favorite bourbon and the waiter brought me a book with something like 1,200 varieties they had. Couple sitting at the table beside us seemed to be enjoying their food, so the anticipation grew. Waited. Waited. Asked about our drinks. Waited. Probably 15 minutes to get the drink and the place wasn’t half full. Food was ok at best. Ordered a burger and it was not hot, and the waiter was hard to find. Probably would not post a bad review from my one experience, until the couple beside us jumped up because there were bugs on their table. Roaches, but they just called them water bugs and when I mentioned it to the waiter, his response was “extra protein I guess”. This place seemed to have an awesome atmosphere and could be a cool place, but I was very disappointed.
