Stopped by a while back and was pleasantly surprised by the delicious creations that are available. I had gotten the smores and cosmic cookies and they were so good! Super sweet people working there! Highly recommend!

Amazing! I have a big sweet tooth and this place is hands down my favorite dessert place in waco. My favorite is the brownie chocolate chip cookie dough. Their cookies are delicious and the customer service is great!! Highly recommend trying this place.

SO GOOD! If you like thick and unique cookies you have to try this place. These cookies are absolutely humongous and so chewy and gooey. From their red velvet to birthday cake flavors they make some really unique and flavorful cookies that everyone can enjoy. Plus they are super cute looking!! #supportwomenownedbusinesses

This rating is not for the cookies because I never had the opportunity to try them. If you're in Waco, sounds like it's worth a stop but DO NOT ORDER ONLINE. I'm beginning to question whether it's a scam as I have read in a couple other reviews with the same experience or terrible management of getting online orders out. I placed a $50.00 order on December 3rd that I never received a shipment update on. So after two weeks I contacted them and was told my cookies would ship out in 2-3 business days. After 5-7 business days passed, still no shipment update or cookies. Contacted them again, this time with no response. Life happened, fast forward to now and I realized this was never resolved. Reached out via phone, email, and Instagram one last time a few days ago and still no response. I've never experienced such poor customer service on an order or never received it. Tried to resolve this directly with Bittersweet but finally ended up disputing the charge with my credit card company. I do my best to support small "mom and pop" shops, but I won't be giving Bittersweet another try.

This place was AMAZING. Ordered 6 cookies: Red Velvet Triple Chip Oat Cream Brownie Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough S'mores Triple Chip with Caramel and Oreos Sooooo tasty. The staff member was very friendly and answered all my questions regarding which cookie was best and had what in it. I recommend when coming to Waco!

***this business has deleted my negative reviews on various platforms*** I can't believe they're still scamming people to deliver cookies. FINALLY got a response via Instagram about a refund and a dry bag (to make up for their mistake). Never received my dry bag, was refunded $20 of my $36 order. I tried ordering cookies for my cousin's birthday to get shipped to her in Florida. I ordered on the 5th of August (2nd day shipping). Tried to ask a question through their Instagram (since they're very active on it) and still have not gotten a response (keep in mind they post every day). A day later I asked for an update on my order, they asked for my order number and told me whoever took care of the online orders would call me back. No call back. I called back the next day, explained my issue, was told "The person who takes care of the online orders will get back to you, but we will make sure your cookies get there by Monday." No call back...called again, Saturday 8/8 and finally got in touch with the owner. She apologized that the website didn't explain that if you order Mon-Thurs by midnight, it will be shipped out Monday. So...offered shipping with no explanation of how it works...workers misinformed... Expect cookies ship out on Monday....no shipping confirmation. So I call Tuesday...said it hasn't been shipped bc she is working alone, but it should be fixed. Wednesday (8/12) I wait, NO CONFIRMATION, and no one answers their phone. Call on Thursday, was told it was shipped, however I again, got no shipping confirmation. Owner says "please let me know if you get the confirmation or not." Made no difference. It is now exactly 2 weeks since I ordered these damn cookies, no refund or no cookies in sight. Called yesterday, girl took my number, said owner will call me back. NO CALL. Called again today, was told the owner was baking but that she would call me back.......but did she????? NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO. Let me add that every time I spoke to the owner, she always offered to give me a refund, and looking back on it, maybe really wanted me to, but why not say it? Say "sorry, this is too much for me to handle, it's fairly new and clearly I'm not up for it just yet, please let me refund you." Rather than jerking me around with this "I'll ship your cookies" BS. ALSO, their website is NOW updated to "Shipment: order by midnight sun-wed get it shipped the next day." Next day meaning...probably never.

My family and I found this place while googling for desserts near where we were. Bittersweet sounded unique and so we gave it a whirl. We were not disappointed. The owner was there, she was really kind and energetic. We got the cookies and took them back to where we were staying. The cookies were the best we've ever had. Really unique flavors with great flavor and texture. A MUST STOP if you're in the area.

I ordered cookies back in September and the confirmation email said they would be sent the next business day. To this day I have never received my cookies. I have tried to DM Bitter Sweet on Instagram several times to receive a refund and have been ignored every time. I almost $50 to order some delicious cookies to try and was completely SCAMMED. DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. THEY WILL STEAL YOUR MONEY AND SEND NOTHING.

Bittersweet Waco Store front on Austin Ave in downtown Waco use to be in Heritage Creamery. Was so popular that there were times when the cookies were more popular than the ice cream. Now at its own store front,, tried the Oat Cream and the Nutella stuffed cookies, just not the buzz and the hype as before

These are some of the absolute best cookies I have ever eaten!! But wait there's more... The cookies themselves are massive! It feels like you're eating 3 or 4 normal cookies. But better because these cookies are filled/stuffed with creams. I would highly recommend going here to satisfy your sweet tooth. They also sell milk ;)
