My go to oxtail spot, I’ve tried several different soul food joints in Waco and this one is by far my favorite! On my first order I had oxtail, mash potatoes and rice and gravy. Would have gave it a 5/5 but my rice wasn’t the best. I spoke to the owner and she reassured me that she would get it taken care of! The food is really, really good. The fried catfish I had in there the first time was some of the best fresh cooked fried catfish I've ever had other than homemade catfish. It had a really good flavor. The collared greens were cooked really well. They weren't mushy or overcooked. They were just right. The service is very good.
