I had the oxtails with mac n cheese and collard greens and peach cobbler for desert. It was awesome. Very flavorful and cooked to perfection. Customer service was very warm and inviting. Honestly felt like I was in my Granny’s kitchen again. Would definitely recommend and I will be coming back very soon.

The greens lack seasoning, catfish good and sweet potatoes were alright. This was my first time in the restaurant. The young lady behind the counter acted as if I was bothering her when I was trying to place my order. I spent about $80.00 and I will NOT go back. I am so happy so people enjoy this place; it’s just not for me.

You ever had food so good it makes make you do that little dance with your feet while you’re sitting down? Yeahhh Now there’s plenty of Soulfood spots in Waco and as someone who grew up here, I am telling you to come hereee, It is a hidden gem!!

We didn't get to eat, as the line was out the door and parking lot. I can only imagine that it's really good. Maybe on my next visit to Waco, I will find out. But if what we saw (lines of people) was any indication...then the food has got to be good.
