Very pleased with our experience at Cultura Mia! The food is top notch (Bistec Ranchero & Chile Relleno’s are excellent choices!) and the service we received was excellent. Kudos to Nancy!!! Others have complained about the chips and salsa not being complimentary, but not an issue when you’re looking for QUALITY ingredients! The salsa is AMAZING!! 5-star experience all around!

This restaurant must be put on your very regular schedule! Presentation was so impressive as all of the food is fresh, even the custom homemade salsa. The meat was marinated for 24 hours and cooked and served hot and fresh. The staff were so kind, Susie, and the owner came to the table and offered us to try a different special hot sauce he makes and was so unique, we took a pint home! They are adding a food truck to serve breakfast over by common grounds on Franklin! Best Mexican food in Waco.

Perhaps best Mexican food in Waco. Wife and I decided to look for a Mexican food place we hadn’t eaten at before, saw the great reviews and decided to give it a try. We live like 8 blocks from the restaurant and never even knew about it. The food we had was amazing and will definitely return to try other things. They had perhaps the best chips and salsa I’ve had but be warned I feel it is a bit pricey for just chips and salsa. I’ll over look it though because of had great it was. Other prices I feel are totally on point for the quality of food you get.

The chips and salsa were incredible - little did we know it was not complementary. We were even more surprised when we received the bill and saw a $7 charge for it! Presentation of the food 10/10 and everything tasted great. Overall good experience.

Here for lunch on a Monday, and it was quiet so I was worried, glad to see in other reviews that it gets busy. The whole experience was absolutely amazing. I'm picky, as are my kids, and they were accommodating and everything came out hot and delicious. One of the best margaritas I've had. I rarely leave reviews, but this place was well worth it. I'm from Kansas, but we'll be back when we're in town next.

One of the best Mexican cuisine meals I've ever had. Perhaps the best vegetarian one. Unbelievable! We had El Gordo and the vegetarian chile rellenos. Reasonably priced, comfortable, kind staff. This is a welcome change to all the Tex Mex places, some of which are quite good. This place is legit cuisine, hinemade, by hand. Wow!

My Chille Rellenos were excellent, culturally different than what I've made personally and not only did the chef come out and explain the dish, he checked on our experience and made sure the whole family was satisfied! For a family of 4 with drinks I don't think we've ever got such a tasteful fresh meal for that great of a price (50$). The kids meals are 5 DOLLARS??? Calling all the parents 🔊

Came to this supposed to be Mexican restaurant on Sunday noon. I thought this was an authentic Mexican restaurant, but I was totally wrong. We were given a wash down version of the menu we saw and read from their website, so the selection was very limited. The Chile Relleno I ordered did not even taste like a Mexican Chile Relleno and was terrible.The chicken waffle my wife and my sister ordered were also terrible. If you are looking for a Mexican restaurant, don't come to this place. We were very disappointed. We should have went to La Hacienda restaurant, which was 5 minutes drive from this place. Totally waste of money at the Cultura Mia restaurant. By the way, most Mexican restaurants will serve you free chips and salsa. This place you have to pay $6.50 per order and was not good too. On the menu, it says $6.50 per order, but on the bill, we were charged $7.00 per order Regret driving to this place.

We went here not having any expectations about it. We were blown away with how good everything was. It was chef quality taste and presentation. My daughter and I are picky. She said it was the best mexican food she has ever had. They accommodated my special request for a carnitas place and it didn't disappoint. My son had a lemon chicken plate. My daughter had enchiladas and my husband had pork ribs that fell off the bone. Everything was just so full of flavor. Portions are a tiny bit small for the price and no free chips and salsa is a disappointment. Seating could be more comfortable. The food taste far outweigh the small negatives. Support this small restaurant the next time you have a taste for Mexican food.
