Fantastic burgers and customer service. A+

Hands down, one of the best burger joints in Texas. And that is saying a lot from me. I found this place on accident just jumping off 35 looking for something to eat. The burgers have a distinct taste due to the grille that has probably been there 50 years. Oh, they are mighty tasty. You have to get the home made onion rings... they are taste bud worthy. Love you guys. Keep in mind, this place is a shoe box, so it's small. But, big things come in small packages.

Who in the hell are the 12% that don't recommend Cupp's? Gotta be bottom feeding, scum sucking, carpet bagging, Libtard, Retarded Old Joe & His Hoe supporters!!! Go back to CA-CAlifornia!!!

Great place! I've been a fan of Cupps fan since I was a kid. My name was Donna Reid back then. Sometimes Me and my friends would save our lunch money at South Waco Elem and run to Cupps after school and get a Cheese Burger Basket and a Big Red. Delicious!

Kid-friendliness: As I said earlier me and my friends were only 8 and 9 years old. We ran from South Waco Elem school when we saved our lunch money. We were welcomed with a smile. We always sat in a booth and played the juke box.

The burgers and fries were so good. Everyone who worked there was friendly. I can't wait to try the steak fingers next time.

The folks working there were friendly, helpful, and just plain nice people. Unfortunately, this did not compensate for the food or environment. There's a difference between vintage and rundown, and cupps is in desperate need of an update inside (or at least a good scrub down). Also, the patties are premade and not seasoned, the fry oil is old, and everything about the food is just so "vanilla". Like if this place and whizzbangs and dubl-r were blind taste tested, there would be no discernible difference. None of them are bad, it's just that all of them are forgettable and I wouldn't go out of my way to eat there.

Cups Drive Inn has made a lot of Waco history since 1929. This legendary diner is a Clean Plate Award recipient from KWTX-TV, the CBS television network affiliate for the Waco area. Many changes over the years have taken place, but still the owner and staff are committed to a truly great experience for customers. I like their hamburgers because the bun is toasted well, and the burger patty is seasoned and grilled until it is medium well to well done, but still is juicy and not dry. The quality of toppings like pickles and lettuce is also great. All food is made fresh and on an as ordered basis. Their French fries are made from fresh potatoes cut right in the restaurant, that are rinsed in water to wash them and remove starch. Then they are deep fried and prepared like Boardwalk style fries, which are not crispy fries, but have a fairly firm outer shell, and have a soft mashed potato like inside. They are then seasoned with their special French fry seasoning. This style of fries is my favorite. The portion of fries is a reasonable size as well, served in a paper lined basket. Sorry that I have no pictures of my order. I did include, as of this posting, the most recent menu for you to see ahead of time. Definately will be glad to return to Cups when I go to Waco again. You can get a burger and fries at a similar price to a Wendy's burger and fries, but get a better value at Cups Drive inn.

Second best burger in Waco in my opinion and a much better burger than you can get in a lot of big cities in Texas. I like the old school dive feeling you get when you eat in. I try to time some of my road trips with their hours so I can get a great lunch.

Great local burger spot! Very small seating area but there is a counter to sit at and only a few booths. It is a drive inn so grab it to go and you wont be disappointed.
