Freddy's Frozen Custard & Steakburgers

I've traveled the world in search of the best custard ice cream. Search no further.... Freddy's!! The history is fun, the atmosphere is like a walk down memory lane. The general menu is on par with anything else in the fast food segment..but the custard (Freddy calls it a concrete) is in a class all by itself!

they told us to go to the window and for what reason, I mean the speaker was working fine and the menu was right in front of us and my mother can't remember what is what without looking at it first and this happened to us twice and my mother was having a hard time and it made me feel bad for her and myself I would never set foot near this pathetic waste of space ever again

An establishment that truly cares about customer satisfaction. Super clean. VERY professional and friendly staff all around. They accidently missed our order by about four numbers and were extremely apologetic when I finally inquired. I had the hangrys bad but realized it was a honest mistake. The nice gentlemen in the kitchen realized how they missed the order and immediately assured us that it would be right out, fresh. It was, fast. He then insisted on buying us custard when he personally brought out our order. I said it was totally unnecessary but thank you. Nope. A manager (I believe) then came out and gave us free custard cards anyway. I figured oh well, it would be a nice small treat. We turned them in on the way out and were given larges, or mediums. And any toppings, on the house. I went from being quietly frustrated and hangry to joyfully stuffed and sick to my stomach with the calorie tsunami. A truely rare and caring business. Many thanks! Once again - to go here is to know that yes the tables will be cleared, but they don’t wipe them down, what looks to be like all day. Also the red baskets they use, look like they haven’t been washed and they just slip the wax paper on top for many uses. Great food. Looks like the kitchen works hard - the dining staff with full garbages, items not restocked and dirty tables is pretty much a commonplace for this location for the last couple years.

The issue I have with this location I have previously mentioned, If you have a beard and handle food, you must wear a beard guard which isn’t done at this location. Also someone needs to guide the kitchen during the busy lunch. Mass confusion is observed, with people bumping into each other.

We love Freddy’s! I recommend the double burger with mayo, jalapeño, and bacon! The fries are shoestring and delicious. I also am a sauce girl, so fry sauce and jalapeño sauce go on everything!The kids love their kids meals that come with a cute little toy, game, sticker, or board book.

How can you go to a custard store and be told they are out of custard and while sitting in line they brought a custard cup to the car in front of us. Burger was good as usual

Recommended dishes: Double Steak Burger and Fries with Cheese

This review hurts...the service was awesome, loved the interaction and their enthusiasm. Thank you for the pup cups, our fur babies loved them. The fries are good, not McDonalds good but nothing is still very good. The double jalapeno with jalapeno cheese and bacon added was spicy but the seasoning was way too salty. Not sure if the seasoning is done locally or inherent to the meat sent to them. Either way it was too salty. Sorry guys for the low review, I feel bad because everything else was awesome.

A little on the higher end for fast food, but the food is always great and the service is always nice and polite. And after several dozen or more visits, I can't remember them ever getting any part of the order wrong.

I would love to love Freddy's but paper thin burgers are not for me. I'd like a thick burger myself but it seems to say that paper thin is the way. I understand the crispy outside of the burger holding out of the bun but cant figure out why the whole thing is thin....Not happies but sads....will not send my vegetarian friends here .
