My family had brunch yesterday at Jake’s in Aledo, and I just wanted to give a 5-Star high-five to Garron who took care of us. Friendly, efficient, this young man is a prime example of any restaurant’s ideal employee. We really enjoyed everything about our experience.

We really wanted this to be good. 2 burgers, 2 fries = 29$ Living in today's economy sucks. We originally chose Jake's because they serve fresh fries. Hand cut. I was disappointed. They were extremely dried out, and mostly burnt. Like maybe under a heat lamp, but I can't attest to that. Either way, dry, and burnt. Threw most of them away. The burgers. Not the worst we've ever had, but the rubbery mushrooms, assume from the can, ruined my burger. The wife liked hers, so this is merely my review.
In all honesty, it's not the worst out there. But for the money I was disappointed.

Very unwelcoming. Stood there 15 mins waiting to be acknowledged but just continued to be walked passed but as soon as a man came in he was helped immediately while I still waited even though I was in line in front of him. I hate to play the race card but he was a white man and I’m a black woman. People of color spend your money somewhere else

I just came back for the 2nd time and it stinks in the establishment and there is NO menu on the wall. There's ONLY ONE server. I immediately walked out. This place needs to be closed. Hawks Hot Chicken was bad but this place is worst!
