We tried the new Jakes on Greenville that opened in Energy Square and it honestly blew us away. The service was amazing, fast, and friendly! We started with the cheese curds, which were super crispy and delicious, and our drinks (the Hurricane and the Margarita) were both spot-on. They had TVs everywhere to watch the game at any angle you were sitting.
I had the Jake Special and my husband got the Patty Melt. Both were cooked perfectly and packed with flavor. The onion rings might actually be the best in Dallas… no exaggeration. And do not skip dessert. The funnel fries were better than the State Fair, and the strawberry sauce and maple syrup for dipping were the perfect touch!
Prices were really reasonable for Dallas, especially considering the quality of both the food and drinks. Shout out to our server Deven for amazing service!! Bonus: they offer free parking validation, which is a lifesaver if you’re driving. We’ll definitely be back!

I wish I discovered Jake’s sooner. I sometimes meet a friend in Waco (it’s halfway drive for us so that’s our compromise). We’ve been to Freddy’s (it’s pretty good for fast food), Hawaiian Bros (not good - portions were skimpy and expensive), and Chick Fil A (pretty consistent). But I’ve been wanting a little nicer than a fast food counter restaurant. Here is where Jake’s enters the picture. We were seated at a table and had a waitress! We ordered beer and burgers and frito pie - the food kept coming because it was so good, we couldn’t stop eating and enjoying. The service is top-notch; there was 1 or 2 waitresses and they were so efficient with all the guests. I can’t wait to plan another trip to Waco just to watch at Jake’s (oh yea, and to hang out with my friend too lol!)

She checked in at the perfect times without ever making us feel rushed, and she had such a friendly attitude that really made our experience stand out.
