A Wacoan favorite. I have to go every time I come back to Waco. Highly recommend the Texas Turtle - with hot fudge, pecans, and caramel, it's hard to beat! Otherwise, I highly recommend the Dirt & Worms swirl for all the kids or kids-at-heart.
Me and my husband stopped here today and got some ice cream which was pretty good and the worker that helped us was nice but our issue we had was there was no restroom. We asked and she told us they had no public restrooms. Me and my husband wanted to sit outside since it was a nice day but since they had no restroom we just decided to eat it at home. If a place has outdoor seating you would think they would have a restroom.
Katie's is a great place in and out. Great management, Great employees, great customers but most importantly great owners. I was the store manager here. Worked for them for 8 years and loved it. The bosses care for their employees which I rarely ever see in alot of workplaces. I'm going to miss interacting with my regular customers, miss having fun with the employees and having Katie's Custard. It's a great place to work so if you are looking. You don't...
