Good Mexican food in Waco?!?! You're joking, right?!?
I walked into this restaurant as a skeptic. New to area from South TX, I wondered if I'd ever be able to find a good, down home cooked meal not fried in grease or slapped between 2 buns. This place is the real deal!
This place is DELICIOUS. I am dead serious. D-E-L-I-C-I-O-U-S!!! The food is so flavorful and clearly cooked to order. If I could give this place 10 stars I would!

First time going and it was 💣 bomb. Waitress was so nice loved her energy 👏. Once I touched my Tortillas de harina I knew it was going to be good. Everything we had was great.
If you're ever in Waco TX you must stop at La Familia!!! The best carne quisada tacos!!! Absolutely the best customer service!!! They are not open on Sundays. Can't wait to come back!

This family owned business is where it is at! Their salsa is brought out to your table as soon as you sit down. The menudo, chorizo breakfast tacos, the burrito Supreme with potatoes is a must but all the food is great!! Patty, Pablo and the rest of the staff are so sweet and will go above and beyond for anyone who walks in the door!
