What an awesome find. This quaint steakhouse has awesome quality food, top notch service and friendly staff. My ribeye was cooked perfect, rare-medium rare.

Nice all-around option for wide selection of menu items. Family friendly, with a separate bar. Service was okay, food hot and quick.
Good option for a sit-down traveler’s meal as opposed to fast food.

We went this evening and to start things off a lady had her dog in there ( was not wearing a service dog vest ) Which from my understanding is against health food guidelines. Took over 45 mins to get a hamburger and two steaks. I told them to just keep mine at that point i wasn’t giving my money for that kind of service. The owner did apologize. The people beside us told us it took them 30 mins to get their salad and another 30 for their food to come out. I have been going a few times a year and each time it gets worse. This was my last time to ever go there.

We were seated and then had to go ask to have someone come take our drink orders. That was 15 minutes after being seated. After that, the service was good. The steaks were terrible. Both steaks were bad cuts of meat and mine was overcooked. The fried mushrooms and onion rings were wonderful. And, the beer was cold. Upon complaining about the food, we were comped everything but the beer. I have eaten here many times in the past, and we'll give them at least one more try. Everybody has a bad day.

Received medium well. Very tough. My mom’s was better.
Potato was great. Green beans ok.
Nice place. Service was what u expect at a small town steakhouse. Ok.
I wait tables so maybe I have different expectations.
Did not get rolls till much later, mid meal because manager asked. Lol.

First time there. We should up just before 8 pm and didn't know they closed at 8 pm but they welcomed us inside to eat. Service was great. The food was good for the most part. No complaints about the chicken fried steak and the green beans. The salad was not bad but dressing options were limited. I would recommend this restaurant and will be going back.

Been here many times but was very disappointed this time, for lunch...I had a ribeye...it was so covered in black pepper I could barely eat it! Also, I order medium rare, and I could hardly chew it, it was so tough and full of gristle. I'm not one to complain or gripe, but, wow, this was terrible! My husband had catfish, it wasn't even DONE....all MUSHY...he couldn't eat it all...he ate what he could tho, because our bill was $53!!!!!! Sad....... Never again.

Good food and fast service. My only complaint is that they have Parkey vs real butter for the baked potatoes and dinner rolls.

We hired Lonestar to cater our wedding and the did NOT disappoint. From the very start up to the day of the wedding, they were very sweet, and easy to communicate with anything that we possibly needed or were concerned about. Nikki + Scott answered any questions we had and worked with us to help create the vision we saw for serving our guests. Comfort was what we were going for and it is exactly what they serve! All of our guest were SO pleased with the food and I am very happy with how they set up the buffet to serve our guests. The workers are very sweet. We even went in for a tasting before the wedding and were treated like a Queen and King. Thank you SO much Nikki, Scott + catering team! Highly recommend and can't wait to return to visit Waco. We will definitely pop in the restaurant for some delicious food + great service!
